Crib/bassinet advice for very small house

our house is only 700sq ft so we try to be conscientious about what we bring in. I’m currently pregnant and have started working a little bit on our registry. I like idea of the nestig bc it’s just 1 thing and we could wheel it around the house as needed and not even buy a bassinet. Is this realistic?

Would I be better off just getting a bedside bassinet and a crib?

Any other recs from people with tiny/small homes?

I’m totally clueless about breastfeeding/pumping. Returning to full time work after 12 weeks. What should I register for?

If I have to do formula for some reason that’s okay but I’d like to try to breastfeed and transition to pumping so I can return to work after my 12 week maternity leave.

I work at a small family-focused nonprofit so I’m not worried about being able to pump. Seems like the wearable pumps would be best so I can at least lock myself in an office and keep working during?

What are all the things I would realistically need to register for to achieve this? Anything else I need to consider? Thank you!!

cautiously excited

very faint line this morning 10dpo. I’ve had 2 MMCs and no LC. I was supposed to start IUI next cycle lol. Mostly sharing in case this info ends up being helpful to anyone else.

I had a feeling it might happen this cycle though bc of my HSG test. We’ve been trying for 5 months with no luck but then I had my HSG test and read that there’s a significantly higher chance of conceiving after that test bc it flushes out your fallopian tubes.

May finally have answers. 0.8cm endometrioma found on ultrasound. Anyone w experience w this? Mildly freaking out

20+ years of heavy, painful, irregular periods. 2 missed miscarriages in the past couple years with no LC. Been through so many tests in the past few years with everything coming back normal.

In 2023 I had a vaginal ultrasound with normal results. 2 miscarriages happened after.

A couple weeks ago I had an HSG with normal results. Just had another vaginal ultrasound and this time the results say I likely have an 0.8cm endometrioma. Seems maybe not significant enough for surgery but Internet is saying this means I’m likely at a more severe stage of endometriosis??? Scared and stressed out. Afraid to look up more info bc it’s all bad so far. Anyone w experience like this?? Plz share

Anyone wanna join me for a 30 day challenge?

Calling it Lock In 30 lol. Need to get my health on track and I’ve been stuck at a weight plateau between 181.5-183.5 for like 6 months so I’d love to get down to 169.5 (although even getting down to 179.5 would be a huge milestone).

my goals are

•80oz of water daily

•close all 3 apple fitness rings (30 min activity, burn 500 calories)

•complete any 1 task off my list of 30 things I could do around the house or yard (these are broken down into tasks I could generally complete in 15-30 minutes)

the last task I think is flexible if there’s some other 3rd habit you want to focus on. I know these goals aren’t crazy but that’s the point for me. I do not consistently hit my water or exercise goals and I’m having a party on June 20th so I would like to be through most of my tasks before then.

We will check in on discord.

Sagging couch is filled with down. I don’t feel great about purchasing more down feathers and would like to go with an alternative. What do you recommend?

Would this work?

Trying to extend the life of our couch and don’t want to spend a bunch of money on some kind of filling that wouldn’t work.

What tests did you have done? What’s even left?

I have had a million things tested including progesterone, A1C, AMH, thyroid, transvaginal ultrasound, and, as of last week, HSG. All totally normal results. Same for husbands semen analysis.

2 MMCs in a row. Unexplained irregular and heavy periods. PCOS ruled out. Maybe endo? I don’t have most of the other symptoms though.

Fertility specialist wants to start me on clomid and IUI I think to give me more chances for a successful pregnancy.

Curious about what other tests are out there for people with history like mine. I also don’t have endless funds and my insurance sucks.

Scientist/physicist meetups?

My dad is moving here soon and he’ll be here about 25-50% of the time (more once he retires). I’d love for him to meet some folks out here. His main hobby/interest in his physics research he’s been working on for about 15 years and I think he would really love like a brewery scientist meetup if that’s a thing.

36F Somewhat irregular and heavy cycles with no known cause since I was a teen.

I accidentally got pregnant when I was 24 and didn’t figure it out until I was far enough along to have morning sickness. Terminated as soon as I realized.

in late 2024 we started TTC (i started taking prenatals plus DHA supplement) and I got pregnant almost immediately, detected heartbeat but measuring small, also had spotting for days, by 2nd US no heartbeat detected. Just below normal range of rising HCG rate too.

A couple cycles later I got pregnant again, had spotting, no heartbeat detected at first US, was actively miscarrying by the time I went for follow up US. HCG rising even more slowly. Sent tissue for testing this time but results came back inconclusive.

Got a bunch of testing done including A1C, thyroid (they were convinced this was it. my weight is higher but I’m vegan and quite healthy). Both came back very normal along with a million other things they tested for. Good AMH too. Added CoQ10 to my regimen plus husband started taking it too. Figured it wouldn’t hurt and doctor said it was fine.

Just after this my husband lost his job and I needed a break. We paused TTC but continued supplements. Ended up taking him until January of 2026 to find steady work again. We started trying again soon after. I’ve now been TTC with timed intercourse for 3 more cycles and no luck.

My AMH and progesterone are fine (tested again recently), everything in my bloodwork has been good, had a pelvic ultrasound as part of ruling out PCOS just a couple years ago and had totally normal results, husband had A+ sperm results.

I have an appt w a fertility specialist soon but last time I talked to her she was like “we can try clomid? Very little is understood about multiple missed miscarriages/ recurrent pregnancy loss.” So that sucks. it seems like there’s way more options for folks who struggle to get pregnant vs those who can’t stay pregnant. I asked her about progesterone during our last appt bc I always see people here talking about it so we did a test and my progesterone looked normal.

Literally open to any ideas.
