lenovo y540. im suprised its able to run on it lol. it loads WAY faster than cs1 for some reason

I got this Wii U from my cousin (the son of my dad's friend) and I'm so glad it fully works!

I first played on it around a decade ago when I went over to their house and I played it in Wii mode. I think it was some brain training game. I tried to play some tank game on the Wii U but it didn't work for some reason.

Anyway skip 9 or so years to 2025. I got into gaming, and I really wanted their Wii U. the cousin who I mentioned earlier bought a Wii between that time so he was comfortable with that. So, he took the Wii U out of it's plastic box that had been stored in for multiple years and he let me have it! At first I could only play the games on the Wii U (wind waker remaster) because they didn't have a charger for the Wii u gamepad to I had to wait for one to arrive but it's ok, since it came with the pro controller which surprisingly had zero stick drift over the years aswell as the tablet which fully works!

Anyway skip to today and I have fully home-brewed the system, put bunch games onto it and put a custom theme onto it!

Ok so, abit of story time:

in primary school I drew up a few comics about if dinosaurs had escaped their extinction by living on the moon instead. It was fun for a while but then I made the big leap to secondary school I forgot about all of those comics. Untill a few weeks ago

I had stumbled upon a project by CM Koseman and Simon Roy http://www.cmkosemen.com/dinosauroids.html

It was about "what if the dinosaurs never went extinct?", it mostly focused on the early tribal stages of development which is cool ofc, but they briefly dabbled in the future if the dinosaurs with this moon landing images you see here drawn by Simon Roy. It awakened a deep dormant thing deep inside me and I really really need to draw my dinosaurs again... I even got permission from CM Koseman via email To use the space suit designs you see here in my drawings (with credit ofc).

the moon just looks so facinating. the lunar maria making a face in the sky. surely someone will think "why does it look like a face?" and "is anyone up their?". surely one day, someone will decide to see whats what. probably not the boiling isles but a larger nation far away from the isles could probably be able to do it.

i made a rubbish lil drawing of what a mission could look like. the craft as a whole is bigger that something like apollo because in my headcanon the moon if farther away from the planet than our moon orbiting earth. so they will need more space to exersise, sleep, work etc.
