I think it's acephobic to call apothis (and asexuals in general) puritans.

I'm not saying an apothi can't be puritan, but we should be careful around calling aces in general that in the same way we need to be careful calling trans people crossdressers or transvestites.
I see it way too acceptable to call me a puritan for saying I hate sex. I mean for myself, that is.
I don't like watching, reading it, thinking about it, having it myself but I am so so fine if someone else wants to have it. That is their business, and I feel like I never say anything anti sex to people who like it.

But I recently saw someone saying sex repulsion from asexuals is unhealthy and others saying it's puritan.
I am not for anti sexuality, but I just don't like this acephobic line being sprayed around like it's nothing more than verbal water.
I just feel kind of hurt by my own side. I am pro sexual liberation, which includes all feelings for your sex life.
I've been told this by the right my whole life as an asexual, but instead in the words of "You just need to grow up and learn how to like it" and now I'm seeing it in the left, too, but with wokewashed language.

I mean no harm to sex likers out there, I just think we need to be more wary how we speak.

Question about consent and fetishes I really want answered.

I know the example isn't bdsm I'm sorry I don't know where to ask.

So, I feel I need to clarify I don't ever interact with kink or fetish spaces, I feel like an preppy teen walking into a Spencer's for the first time.
If there were two people, Robert and Sam maybe, and say Robert had a foot fetish that Sam didn't know about.
Sam starts like grabbing Robert's foot and Robert tells Sam to stop because that's Robert's fetish and it makes him uncomfortable for this to happen without his consent.
But Sam does not stop.
Is this sa?
A similar thing happened to me but not the same names or kinks or anything, it felt really wrong but because I've never even heard this situation being discussed before and I again, don't interact with spaces involving my or anyone else's fetish I felt like maybe asking you guys would be better.

I'm sorry if this is not the right place to ask, if I could get redirected if it's wrong that would help a lot.
My post has been locked so I can no longer respond but I thank you guys a lot for speaking to me about this.

And apologies to that one comment poster about the Spencers comment haha, but to be fair I am also not a preppy teen girl.

Found on wikipedia, all before this defined it similarly but this is the first mention of "little" attraction.

I wish we stuck to this!

I'm so tired of this. I support grays but I don't get why they're so included in aroace that it's conflated.

Everyone around me loves romance and sex. I watch a movie, love interest. I read a book, more couples and romantic subplots. I go in public, couples kissing. I listen to music, sex.
And then even in the places I think would be safe, it's shoved as "we just need more time to like it".
It makes me feel like I don't exist.
What does it even mean anymore

DAE get this weird, kind of uncomfortable, almost nauseous, but good feeling?

I get it usually from things that make me uncomfortable in a specific way that I don't like, but then there's this kind of excitement or bendy enjoyment I get out of it. The most common way I get it is when there's a scene in a show or movie where a character is drunk or something similar, just acting weird, and it'll give me this odd feeling that I feel like I don't like but it'll drive me to watch it over and over until the feeling sort of solidifies.

That's another thing, things being repeated seems like it's also a part of it.

A list of its "triggers" so far:
Old sounding voice recordings, like from a 1970s disney cartoon
People being drunk or in some way influenced to act not like themself or act wobbly.
repetition
If I'm hungry and I feel "empty", because this feeling makes me feel that way so it sparks it up.
Nostalgia
Certain animation styles
Being maybe vulnerable

It also makes me want to isolate myself and not really eat or do much, just sit there feeling this way.
it's so weird, because one of the scenes that gave me this feeling really strong was a scene of the character Crona, who also just gives me a bit of the feeling in general, I've begun calling it "cronish" to friends.

the scene for example

How do I let my friends I'm there for the heavier hearted stuff? Should I?

I've struggled with suicidal ideation but wouldn't speak of it because I felt it was too heavy to just randomly tell my friend, I didn't know if they could be there for that.

I think sometimes of how if one of my friends was feeling similar, I would want them to talk to me or at least know I'd be there for anything no matter how heavy.
But I'm not a very close person. I'm kind of casual with all of it and I don't really talk about that kind of stuff.
So, in the same way telling my friends I was struggling was too scary, telling them I wanna be there for them also seems scary.

I'm a bit extra anxious because I have some deficiencies socially, I over correct by just blunting myself completely around people.

Someone asking me for commision work, I never said I offer commision and it seems very out of the blue. How do I go about this? And, y'know, not get scammed?

They texted me from discord, offering me 500 us for a commision.
I've never done commisions, I'm getting a nervous feeling from this. Advice for a young artist?

Bird recognition auditory hallucinations...

I have this hallucination that comes up every now and then when I see a bird I don't recognize and I feel like I'm going crazy, because I don't know the bird and then a young man's voice says a name. I look it up and it's right, I saw a little striped bird spazzing out on the ground, heard "killdeer." I looked it up, yeah, that's a killdeer. Saw a crow, thought, "Cool! Crow!!!" heard "common grackle." Yeah, actually it was a grackle. Hallucinations are not other beings, it has to be me with the information. What is happening? Do you guys have these, too?
