23 [M4A] I Need a friend.

Hi everyone!

I don't know what to put here because I've never done this before lol. I just want to learn something new from someone and somehow help people, you can rant and talk about anything.. I'll try to be a good friend.

I'm the type of person na will always be your friend kahit less communication na :) I just need you to ping me and I'll always try to respond (kinda late nga lang or not as frequent)...also, Sometimes I get jealous of people who have a big circle of friends, gusto ko lang ma feel haha.

I despise people who are dds, bbms and political fanatics but you could still reach out..... it would be fun to have some constructive debates.

Is it okay to close the door for love at a young age?

Problem/Goal:

I feel like I’m done with love, romance, and having a partner at 23.

Context:

I had my first and only girlfriend. We lasted for 2 years, and I think it’s been around 3 years or so since we broke up honestly, limot ko na, I don’t even remember clearly anymore.

She broke up with me, and after that, I fell into a really dark place. While she moved on and eventually found someone new, I felt like I lost myself. It was a bad breakup. We both said things we didn’t mean. I don’t blame anyone, but I know that during that time, I was completely out of my mind. She was my first girlfriend and it was my first breakup, so all the emotions hit me at once. At the same time, I was also graduating, so I had to endure everything all at once. I even ended up picking fights with some of my friends loll but luckily they understood me and stayed with me :))) . After a few months, I was diagnosed with depressive disorder. Eventually, one day, I just felt a little lighter. Slowly, I started becoming myself again. I can say that I’ve moved on, but I also feel like I closed a door in me.

Hindi naman sa pagmamayabang, pero I know I have good qualities. Gwapo naman ako, loyal, and matalino, I even graduated with Latin honors😌😌. Kaya if gugustuhin ko, I can be in a rs naman... But I always tell myself that experiencing love once was enough. I don’t know if I can ever see myself falling in love again. (THIS DOESNT MEAN THAT hindi pa ako moved on🥲 I just cant see myself in love na, things have changed)

I’m scared that I might hurt someone, or that I might get hurt again. I’m not the best version of myself yet, and I can’t afford to lose myself the way I did before. What scares me more is the idea of bringing another person into the kind of pain that love can cause. I think I care about other people more than I care about myself.

Also, hindi talaga ako marunong lumandi or makipaglandian. I don’t like randomly adding people or starting conversations just for the sake of talking. It feels weird and unnatural to me.

So my question is: Is it okay to close the door on love at such a young age? Or am I just protecting myself because of what happened before?

Struggling to land a remote legal role - feeling lost and need advice

Hi everyone,

I've been looking for a remote job for months but still can't land any role. I'm a political science graduate, so I've been targeting virtual paralegal/legal assistant roles. When no opportunities came my way, I started applying for different roles where I felt I had the necessary skills.

Luckily, I landed my first job, but it's only a project-based role and far from what I want. What’s disheartening and depressing is that I keep getting rejected for legal assistant/paralegal positions, which makes me feel depressed and inadequate. I can’t help but question if I’m good enough for these roles.

The hardest part is that I took a gap year to prepare and save money for law school, because financial problems got in my way. Now I'm not only behind where I wanted to be, but I'm terrified I might never get the chance to go to law school : (((( . I've spent months applying for jobs to save up, but nothing's come through. With the academic year starting in weeks, I feel like I've already failed. This gap year was supposed to be my stepping stone, but it's only made me feel more stuck and depressed. Should I just give up my dreams? Am I not worth a try for the role? Is this not for me?.. I feel like shit.. Sometimes I just wish a silent death.

Araw araw walang tubig sa Naga city. 4 or 3 years na atang issue ito.

3 or 4 years na ata laging walang tubig during the day till evening sa Naga. Mind you, when I say "wala" as in walang patak.

Bumabalik lang sya around 10:00 pm and Yung tubig na yun ay di pa malakas ah, ANG HINA, MINSAN PATAK LANG.

Kaya late nights are for saving water dito sa Naga City. Meron kaming SAMPUNG WATER DRUM.

EWAN KO KUNG BAKIT DI PATO NA FIFIX KAHIT ILANG TAON NANG ISSUE!!!

[Bicol Law Schools] Do AdNU (Ateneo De Naga Univ) or UST-Legazpi accept 1st-year enrollees for the 2nd Semester (AY 2026-2027)?

Hi everyone! Aspiring law student here. I'm planning to start law school soon because I feel like I'm losing time hahaha and I really want to get started. Does anyone know if Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU) or UST Legazpi accepts incoming freshmen for the second semester of AY 2026-2027?

I don't mind being an irregular student; I just want to take the leap / risk now kesa ipagpaliban ko pa and risk losing the momentum to enter law school altogether.
