Vanguard gameplay is not supposed to be mechanically challenging, it's about game awareness
I've seen plenty of takes saying Dino doesn't require a large skill expression and there's little difference between two of them in combat, it just comes to which team can manage the enemy one the best. And yeah, that's the entire point of the role? I really don't think most tanks have a complex gameplay, most of the skill the role has is about situational awareness and game sense. Most times the diffs come from who's smarter or better strategically than who can press buttons harder lmao
Magneto isn't that hard aside from the need of aim, or having the right timing of his ult. Thor and Venom also aren't that mechanically complex, although Thor can be hard to play right. And Strange? You basically just need to learn the animation cancel which is a no burger. I don't think there's a difference of DPS output between any Strange player lol. It doesn't make sense complaining about Dino when most tanks are just as simple
I'm not accepting anything less than this for War Machine
Or it could be his ult. I'd be fine with it
Grimlock skin for Devil Dino when???
The only two T-rex with horns I know of. It's a necessity
Is it a hot take to say the Silver Centurion color palette is better than the regular red & gold?
I actually prefer when it's done like in the MCU or Armored Adventures where instead of making entire sections like the biceps and thighs silver, they just make a few pieces (for example first image, the regular armor has red and gold in the thighs, but the Silver Centurion only has silver and no red)
We gotta select our tanks and push our Agenda harder
I don't think our agenda is solid enough. I feel like our wishes are too dispersed (there are too many tank options). I believe we should stick to a few select characters and make a vocal campaign about those as loud as possibly. Don't stop asking until we get what we want one by one
We gotta push the agenda harder otherwise we'll only get DPS
Let's get more vocal into the specific heroes we want as vanguard and strategists. I believe there's no discussion in Ghost Rider, War Machine and Cable as tanks. Silver Surfer must be a healer, and the others could work really well as strategists, Ant Man/Wasp included (Ant-Man could be a tank tho)
Is there a Ben 10 alien could defeat a viltrumite with just raw stats?
Is there any alien who could defeat a viltrumite without swapping and with just pure strength, resistance and speed? Not counting Way Big tho. I don't remember any super muscle alien who could damage a viltrumite like Nolan with the exception of Way Big. Four Arms and Humungousaur were portrayed as city block level most of the times, with cars and trucks knocking them out when thrown
Marvel doesn't manage its IPs very well
Marvel is mediocre at perpetuating their IPs. I feel like they got to make people love their cinematic version of the Avengers but that's it, outside of the MCU they aren't a big deal for the general public, and the general public doesn't know the heroes very well outside of it. I've been thinking, look at the mischaracterized Thor in the last movies, it doesn't get a lot of reaction like a mischaracterized Hulk, Spider-Man or Batman/Superman, because the general public doesn't know him outside of those versions. The best the public could know him well is by his EMH version, but don't think that's popular enough to the point of the general public knowing it.
The point is, they haven't done enough external material to the movies for people to like the characters independently of actors. Marvel has tried more with series after the Infinity Saga ended than before, in an attempt to make the public like their legacy heroes or obscure ones like Moon Knight more. Looking at the past now it's crazy how we didn't have any series like X-Men 97 or something with the budget of What-if for characters like Captain America or Thor, showcasing the mythos of those characters. Different of Spider-Man and Batman who got tons of series and their villains got known for it, general audience barely knows any Thor or Avengers villains which aren't the movie ones.
It feels like Marvel didn't use the boom of their Cinematic Universe and after the Avengers (main ones, Thor, Cap, Iron Man) are definitely done in the movies they'll get in a bad state like they're now. I've seen so many people that like Iron Man but only when it's RDJ, to the point they have no interest in other versions, and it's even worse because we've barely had any new version of Iron Man since Endgame. And those characters are good outside of the movies, it's just that instead of doing series like Iron Heart or What If they should be working on their big names. A solo or maybe even an Avengers series in the style of X-97 would be an absolute success, but it seems Marvel wants to push every other characters but them
One of the biggest BS in Endgame is how they foreshadowed this armor only for it to do absolutely nothing.
And they don't even sell toys of it. Worst part of it is the designers had a lot planned for this suit, it was even capable of one shooting those giant ring ships
On top of Civil War, I also don't like how the MCU just rotuled the armor as something that just flies and shoot with mid resistance and little to no brawl potential
