My pet wheel bug molted! But she has in inner wing sticking out, how should i get it back into position?
One of the wings that should be below the front 2 is sticking out. It doesn’t seem to bother her, and wheel bugs don’t really need to fly, but i’m sure she’d appreciate it.

I want to play adachi but i have no idea what’s going on. I am pretty well aquatinted with arcsys fighting games, but i’m kinda lost here. Is there an easier character i should play before adachi?

My baby wheel bug isn’t a baby anymore…
Super cool that I managed to catch its final molt, i had missed it’s last 2 (i got it at its 3rd instar) so i’m super glad to have got this on camera. (Also needed a bit of help with its wings)

What happened to this poor katydid?
Its wings are twisted up, but what most concerns me is just how twisted its hind legs are. Its other 4 limbs were working fine and it was eating a leaf fine when i found it, but with how much it stands out and it having no options of running away, i’m pretty sure it’s just gonna get picked off by a bird or something. Does anyone know what could’ve caused this? (My guesses are bad molt or pesticides, but the area it was in didn’t seem like it’d have pesticides. Maybe some wafted off from the cornfields nearby?)

How would I tell when my wheel bug will molt?
It’s about at the time where wheel bugs usually molt, but i’m not seeing any behavioral or physical differences. It’s already molted once under my care, but it was pretty soon after i first got it and it molted while I was sleeping so I didn’t really get to see how they look or act different. If anyone knows how to tell, it would help. (It has been about 17 days since its last molt, and it molted with no issues. It’s very capable during feeding as well, so there’s no health concerns)

Beetle found in house (indiana)
