Golgmund 'the Captain' and his faithful halfling retainers are a welcome addition to the M-TEAM. While Golgmund is able to understand that his nickname doesn't override the true chain of command, the notion of not yelling orders compulsively is entirely alien to him. His little friends are Hieronimus "Fatfinger" and "Noisy" Oddo. As 'the Captain' regards every opponent beneath him, it is Hieronimus's job to assess the various targets and point out to Golgmund which one should perish first. In the meantime, the high-pitched sounds made by Oddo carry the true orders that would otherwise be suppressed by Golg's yelling.

The illustrious M-TEAM welcomes first ogre reinforcements among its ranks. Bolg "Hamfist" always wanted to be an executioner. Unfortunately all his attempts at the job ended in the convict being pulverised instead of being beheaded, which caused both cheers from some spectators and loss of consciousness for the less sturdy ones.

This talent proved to be more at home with the Middenheim halberdiers, who cared less if their foe was pulverised instead of losing his head. At the same time Bolg practised his axe-skills, and hoped that he'd spend his retirement as a voluntary beheader.

Few more soldiers joined the unit, and their sergeant Meinhart decided they all should exercise their stoic poses while enjoying some cold and fresh Middenheim air!

These guys were made as grey stalkers, but the current edition deleted the unit, so they were downgraded to despoiler role.

Snow finally arrived in Middenheim, so Adolphus, Helmut, Kurt & Wilfred motivated their friend Emil "I'm too old for this" Emilsen to pose together, bringing a bit of colour and pride to the Middenheim citizens passing by.

Two of my "squads" that before the new edition, were just "special weapon grey stalkers". Now the unit doesn't exist, so the poor fellas need to abide with the Principia Belicosa.

Three other soldiers that I finished recently. Already bought a new set of snow base materials, so after another model it will be time to go back to these three and number 2, to add some proper middenheim snow under their boots!

Helmut is aware that someone can be watching him and rate his posture or marvel upon his red beard. That is why he always poses, always keeps his back straight, always a living proof of Middenheim pride!
