I Dream of Jeanie Game! Who knew?

Found this at a Raising Cane’s. Made me smile. I still think Major Healey was destined to be my boyfriend.

Gotta keep that Hair-do from becoming a Hair Don’t. 😉

Had to pass on this at the Thrift Store! Made me smile!

Check out this beauty!!

Had to pass since I value being married. A limit on sewing machine ownership has been set forth in my house. He is saving me from a future appearance on Hoarders.

Never had seen one like this. Loved it.

Made myself a cake for Mother’s Day because why the heck not.

Decorating is so much harder in real life. Watched so many videos figured I could do that. It is tasty and in the end, that’s all that matters.

Am not entirely clear what happened between Lydia and Vidalia. Was Vidalia spared because Lydia was given an inoperable weapon, it just being a test? Did the gun jam? Did Aunt Lydia decide not to fire?

In episode 5 “The Ball,” I was struck on Aunt Lydia chastising Aunt Vidalia for allowing the commanders to ply “their girls” with drink. Lydia knew there was little to nothing that Vidalia could do, yet had to lay the blame somewhere. Then, Vidalia turns around to admonish the girls…”you know who you are.” It struck me on how this society creates self-doubt every step of the way. Now the girls are silently questioning themselves as to why they may have done wrong, was she talking about me? If you are always doubting yourself, it is hard to fight back against such an evil system.

Did anyone else notice this? What was your take on those interactions?
