a few months ago I stumbled across an early 1990s same size box of poker cards that were called something Aces. Today I found my full set of 1992 MLB Baseball Aces. So with my All-Aces that means I own three Aces card sets. Just not a complete All-Aces set as there are so many variants and parallel numbered versions and being from the 2020s they still make them but I wish they would remake these 1992 MLB Baseball Aces. Also, I'm curious if anyone else owns any other sets or series having to do with aces or trading card themes. I also enjoy these thick 1990 sports card bundles my dad collected and I wish they still made these thick plastic binder pages too.

between the life Kurt was about to leave and The Piano, the last film he saw, in which a woman is sold, brutalised and deprived of her beloved musical instrument. And Kurt ended up leaving this life and being stripped of his instrument and the talent and the type of person he was. Struggled so much with himself and battled a battle I know too well, but he showed everyone respect, didn't judge people on their belief or what they believed in or any type of status someone holds in any type of social or cared about money or himself. All that hate and judging and plastic fake corporate agenda our government pushes on us. Kurt said it best that he couldn't breathe or felt like he was living during the Reagan era. He felt like an alien. and his mother loved music and I remember in his memoir and journals he talked about right before nevermind was released he got a few days to come home and went to his mom's house. And she had a big speaker entertainment center with a record player and I think it played compact discs too. And Kurt brought a copy of Nevermind and him and his mom sat down and had some wine and listened to it together. And Kurt's mom was so Happy for him, but she realized the talent and how big nirvana was about to become and how nevermind was going to define a whole generation followed by someone could look up to and relate to Kurt Cobain. And she said "Oh honey.. You're not ready to be this famous.... Kurt.... do you realize what you are going to do with this album?" she said something like Baby no you aren't ready for this, because she seen him travel to Europe right after bleach and he had written nevermind in Olympia when he was living with Tracey while she would go to work every morning she said he could stay at the house and didn't have to have a job as long as he worked on his music. And that pear Street triplex where him and Tracey lived and then when Dave joined Nirvana he moved in with Kurt and they would drive to Krist house in Tacoma and do band practice. And not even a quarter mile for where Kurt lived there in Olympia where he sat at home for a year and wrote 90% of Nevermind and a few tracks off In Utero and Incesticide they would play their first show as Dave as their drummer at a bar which is now the key bank I believe and they would start teasing some of Neverminds tracks before they went and recorded it with Butch Vig in Cali. But by the time Kurt got his nevermind money from his record company he was using heroin and only staying clean for a couple days at a time. So much fame, Life going so fast, and how Kurt felt like an alien and didn't feel like he was like anyone else he could relate to music and his instrument, and even in the end when he was falling out with the bandmates and was spiraling deeper and deeper I can say I can relate to the opiate and opioid addiction as I've struggled with it my whole life too, but Kurt was numbing the fame, the constant nonstop feeling of being watched, not being left alone. And when you get addicted to heroin and you're no longer doing it to get high but using it to just get through the day and just feel like you're not dying from the flu and anxiety just from having to have a normal conversation with your day to day loved ones. Yeah that movie definitely made Kurt sad where he could relate to it I think. And after his Rome overdose, or maybe rhohypnol was put in his drink. But the amount of time he was overdosed and didn't have full oxygen going to his brain, He was never the same after that Krist, Dave, and people all close to him said. I know people will say he was never truly happy right when his mother and father got divorced, and I totally relate to that too growing up with a dad that I haven't seen since I was 4 years old. But I think Kurt and Courtney were definitely going through marital problems. He wasn't seeing eye to eye with the band. He didn't want to be under the spotlight and felt like he couldn't even spend time with his daughter without having to sign an autograph or take a picture and I think the drug fueled addiction, his struggle with mental health, and how 5 years went so fast for nirvana and how many days he just felt like he was fully burnt out and didn't want to continue faking it. And addiction can definitely cause mental health problems like depression which he said he suffered with and chronic pain and I think he just couldn't go on pretending and battling a battle he felt he couldn't win. And that piano movie just like the end Kurt's life, His instrument and passion in life was truly stripped from him, and I don't know if he knew how much he was loved, or how many people's life he changed or touched and made for the better. But I know I struggle everyday with my own demons and if you feel like you're at rock bottom and been stripped of what you truly love and nothing just seems colorful anymore. Life is just grey with dark shades of white and darker shades of darkness I know someone else is struggling and battling with something way harder than I am, and life's too short to let a disease like addiction and mental health is what a lot of people don't realize is a disease too. We all struggle and I know what Kurt was able to make and left behind for everyone that truly uses the feeling of relating and feelings that Kurt gave us with all his music and videos of his laughter and him just being a good loving soul and a loving father to his daughter it helps and will continue helping people who struggle and get stripped of what they love and get to wake up another day to enjoy what Nirvana and Kurt Cobain gave us and it should just make awareness and help people understand and help and be there more often when someone is struggling with addiction or mental health problems . Sorry for the long post but watching that movie and feeling what Kurt must have been feeling relating to the protagonist who lost all interest and the instrument that truly gave life to him and made him was one of the only things that kept him going besides his daughter and made him want to live. That's all I need is knowing that faith and that someone so special can make so many people happy with something such as an instrument and just letting people know how they feel and letting people relate and understand without having to speak a single word or actually know him.

I think I stumbled across it while checking out Shudder for the first time. The Horror Movie App and TV Channel that plays horror movies 24/7 and has a streamble app service. But I happened to click on it and Arrebato which is Rapture in Spanish is a Movie filmed in Spain in 1979. Even though I watched the whole thing with no subtitles and it's in spanish and I only know English, it's like I could relate and understand what was going on in the movie. If anyone has seen it Im gonna give my review on it because maybe I've struggled with addiction to opiates and opioids which I think the director definitely did too to be able to portray addiction so real and pure and not being able to understand one word I still feel like I could watch it how I would Halloween or Evil Dead. anyways here's my review.

Arrebato is a trip. It’s completely fucked up but in the most beautiful, pure way possible. It’s like watching a movie version of an underground punk single that only fifty people own, but it ruins the lives of every single person who hears it.It’s about this guy, Javier, a horror filmmaker who is totally burnt out on the fake, plastic commercial industry. He gets this package from an old acquaintance named Pedro. Pedro is this weird, childlike savior-freak who is completely obsessed with his Super 8 camera. He isn’t just filming things; he’s trying to catch the exact moment where the camera sucks out your soul. He’s looking for total rapture, total absorption. The camera literally starts eating time. It eats the film, it eats the light, and eventually, it starts eating people.What blew me away is how it understands addiction without being preachy or moralistic. Most movies treat drugs or obsession like a bad choice or a PSA. This movie treats it like art. It treats it like the ultimate, terrifying pursuit of something real. That red flash on the screen when the camera takes a frame—it feels exactly like that split second when the needle hits the vein or when a guitar finally locks into the perfect, screaming feedback loop. It’s that terrifying moment where you realize you don't own the art anymore; the art owns you.Ivan Zulueta directed it, and it feels like he shot it with his own blood. It’s claustrophobic, dark, and sweaty. The soundtrack is just this haunting, repetitive electronic pulse that gets inside your skull and won't leave. It’s completely anti-Hollywood. It doesn't care about a happy ending or making you feel safe. It just wants to drag you into the dark room with Pedro and Javier and turn the camera on.If you hate safe, sterile multiplex movies, you need to see this. It’s a masterpiece about the beautiful terror of being completely consumed by what you love. It’s a 10 out of 10. It completely broke me.
