I believe most of you still using excel, building models, doing analysis without AI!?

If you are working in an MNC or a large group replacing workflows with AI is not as simple as people make it sound. It usually becomes a full scale transformation project, for example, our MIS reporting file alone is around 30MB and connected across dozens of tabs feeding into a master sheet. Practically, it’s not easy to just upload that entire structure into AI and expect clean variance analysis, KPI insights, and reliable outputs instantly.

Do you really think organizations will eventually try integrating tools like Claude directly into excel, especially since many people find it more capable than Copilot for analysis and reasoning? how many you are already actually getting meaningful productivity gains from AI today versus just using it for small tasks and shortcuts?

CFA in Secondary PE & Fund of Funds: Truly Valued or Overrated?

Is the CFA genuinely valued in Secondary Private Equity and Fund of Funds investing, given the heavy focus on valuing complex illiquid assets and diversified LP portfolios?

It seems the curriculum, especially Fixed Income, Derivatives, and GIPS, aligns more closely with these strategies than with traditional buyout PE. Is the CFA actually common and respected on investment teams?

Mostly people in our country still prefer traditional labor jobs instead of learning skilled work in the food and beverage industry, such as coffee maker, cake making, Chinese and Italian cooking, burger preparation, or beverage specialization.

If you visit the GCC countries, you will notice that nearly 70–80% of these roles in major brands like Starbucks, Tim Hortons, KFC, Macdonald and hundreds of other similar cafes, are occupied by Filipinos and other skilled workers, these jobs offer a professional environment, often with air-conditioned workplaces, unlike physically demanding outdoor labor in extreme heat. The best part is that these skills can easily be learned and trained in Pakistan before moving abroad.

There are hundreds of similar opportunities available in airports cafes, hotels, holiday homes, restaurants, cafés, and international food chains for people who invest in developing these practical skills. Middle East needs no more labours for construction, maintenance etc,, there should be government-level initiatives and awareness programs, but unfortunately, such career path is still not taken seriously.

Will SQL, Python, and data mining still matter in FP&A as AI gets better?

Right now they’re key for data pulling, modeling, and automation.

But AI can already query data and generate insights.

Will these skills stay core or become less important? So one should learn from basics in order to remain relevant?

I came across the 6 month j'ob seeker visa for Germany that lets you stay there while looking for workk.

From what I understand, German is the main language used across the country, so I’m wondering how important it really is for getting a employment during that period.

How common is it in Pakistan for women in their mid to late 20s to marry men in their late 30s or early 40s, and how socially accepted is this age gap?
