Which subreddits are good to receive an expert opinion about certain stocks or long term investments or temporary investments (not day trading) without all the anxiety?

I am completely new and I feel like I don't know where I should read the opinions of other people with different views. Some subreddits are so bearish and some are bullish. And at the end of the day they're day traders and not long term investors like me. Or do you know some good users here?

I want to put 70k in VT (swiss person), is fixed pricing or tiered pricing better in this scenario?

People told me to always use tiered pricing but I still don't understand the difference between those two and how it works

I want to invest in VT with IBKR, the ''chill'' way. I don't understand, do I lose more money doing that instead of using my CHF to invest with a swiss broker in a swiss etf?

Because for VT you require USD, and IBKR will do that for me, do I lose money because their conversion rate is bad? Do I have to convert my CHF before buying VT? Or does IBKR do that for me? I have to pay 15% and that costs a lot... So in 20 years let's say if I have 200k, I need to pay 2000 CHF? And where do I have to pay that? To the swiss authorities? Do I have to tell them I have money in VT in den Steuerunterlagen. It is so complex..

I always used the word ''bac ky'' for myself and even for others without knowing it's a slur. how strong is this word actually and have I insulted people?

My parents and my community in France always used this word. Just a few minutes before I saw a post about that word and people say that it's derogatory. And I feel ashamed that I never informed myself cause I really thought that's what we call people from the north who moved to the south. or if I say I am nam ky, that means I am from the south who moved to the north or somehwere else. i am so ashamed and now I feel so much anger towards my mom cause she always lives in the past and now I lost face cause I never knew.

Is your avoidant a solo traveler?

Is it just a coincident? Or why are the two ex bf of my friends avoidants and solo travelers? My avoidant can go on short trips or trips that consist of several other people and not just 2 or 3. I feel like many avoidants can be charming and fun but they can't get too deep with another person, and they avoid conflict a lot so when something bothers them they keep it to themselves. Often ending up being passive aggressive on longer vacations. So to avoid it, they make short trips or go with a whole group.

I will move to Hanoi soon. But I won't stay longer than a year. I am a viet kieu and I am very interested in learning this instrument. How much would that cost? I tried to find a course online, but maybe the viet ppl on reddit know more about that.

Advice to find a purpose in life (I am not depressed)

I don't like traveling but I visited 30 countries since it should be fulfilling. I don't even know what things I would put on my wishlist. I don't know what jobs I would do cause everything seems boring (internship in tech, worked in sales, retail, cleaning companies, was a mechanic, carpenter, volunteered as an English teacher and as a farmer in china), I am studying computer science, however, I want to stop but I wouldn't know what I would want to study afterwards. I don't even know what type of man I like and jump from an old relationship to a new relationship, I love the attention of handsome men (don't even like sex). I switch hobbies every now and then, from hunting to crocheting. I have been learning different languages for a few years and switched to other languages. I literally have no clue what I want and everything seems so boring, but I am not depressed. I only have ADD. What made you find a purpose in your life? The only thing I can think of is making my family happy. Like taking mom to different countries or buying dad flight tickets to his home country. If I were to have kids, like in 7 years, that would be my new purpose in life.

I F/23 want to go back to Vietnam to improve my Vietnamese and live there for a while, I don't want to be a teacher, is there something else that I can do?

I usually visit Vietnam every year once or twice to say hi to my granny. However, right now I yearn for Vietnam stronger than before. I want to go back and see more of my culture and improve my Vietnamese. Maybe for 6-12 months (gap year). What can I do in Vietnam that isn't about teaching but I still can earn money to pay rent and food? Is there a website for jobs? I must go back to Switzerland to continue my studies.

A productive bowel movement (going to the toilet) should be completed within three minutes, anything longer begins to resemble a strategic planning session

A good poop session shouldn't take more than about three minutes. If you're sitting there much longer, chances are you've already finished and are just scrolling on your phone or avoiding something else (your partner or your kids or chores) or you just wanted some peace.

How can I end a friendship with someone while still being friends with the friendgroup that they're in?

I am not the boss of the friend group, no one is. I still want to hang out with them, we hang out every month like once or twice. In the past we were very close (highschool friend group). Now we're having our own life. This one consists of 5 people, and I like 2 of them. We never hang out a lot in private but when we see each other again it's fun. But that one girl from that group makes my blood boil every time I meet her. She's always in the right and never in the wrong. And there's a silent one sided competition from her. She once mentioned that she likes how close I am with my family and that I have many friends that like to hang out with me. She isn't close to her family and she often quarrels with her friends to the point of friendship break ups. She only has friends that meet her once a month, her love interests don't want to commit to her. Talking to her seems so tiring, she talks a lot about herself and if I do talk about me she silently hopes that my life isn't doing great. Just a week ago I came back from a trip, she was asking me several times if I argued with my other friends and whether or not bad things happened in my trips or downplayed my fun cause that country looks like our country and it's not interesting at all. That all happened after our vacation together that happened four months ago. We went to my home country, she got to know me better, how I lived, my family, my other friends that facetimed me and my life story, because she never asked me about it. There's another person in that friend group who used to hate her, that was during that time where he was seeing her everyday because they went to the same class. Now he sees her every month once and their friendship got harmonious. Before the vacation I didn't like her a lot either but I thought once a month was okay and we actually had a good time together. But after this vacation, each hang out is a dread.

Men who were dumped by a fearful avoidant girlfriend, would you like to receive an apology or to be left alone?

Don't judge me for being dumb, I already know that and I know I need therapy. I told him I don't want to get attached and I don't see that a relationship will end well (I already loved him a lot at that point). He was ready for a relationship but was waiting for me. He respected my wish of not wanting to stay in contact. I blocked him. That happened two months before. He still has a highlight on his IG of the gifts I gave him and reposted some videos about liking someone who doesn't like him back.

Should I unblock him and say sorry and write that I reflected a lot on my behavior as an avoidant (I still have no intentions of having a relationship with him)? Or should I leave him alone to heal? Or what about if I don't unblock him but write him from an external source? That way I still keep distance from him and he still receives an apology (for example I write it one a website that sends letters to the future or websites that uses a different email domain to send him the text).

For clarification 30% is because I do feel guilty and I want to soothe my feelings, 70% is because I want him to know that it's my behavior and my fault and there's nothing wrong with him, he's great.

Seriously, how do you guys (girls) curl your hair and which products do you use?

I am serious, I spent at least $500 on products and curlers and a dyson to curl my pin straight Vietnamese hair. Overnight curls, hair sprays, mouse whatever there is. I have virgin hair and I want to have this voluminous big curl look like xuan ca. Can you guys tell me what helps? Should I bleach my hair and dye it black again so it holds curls better? I kid you not, once I've done those overnight curlers for 30 hours, it went back to normal after 30 minutes.

I am serious about this issue, so please don't delete this question. I'm not the only one having this issue and Vietnamese people can tell other Viets what they do or use since the West only sells for their audience.

When is the best time to reject someone? (I [F23] am autistic and need step by step instructions lol)

Both of our parents are going to the same church, we're both tagging along (unwillingly). His big sister is shipping us, she said I should get to know him [M22]. I never did. Then the church organized a day trip to an amusement park. He started texting me from then on. We didn't text much cause I was exploring Kyrgyzstan shortly after the day trip and didn't have internet. Now I am back, we still don't text much cause I don't know how to respond to his short messages and leave it on read often. He initiates our conversations 80% of the time. I do 20% cause I feel guilty. He asked if we could get coffee together, I said sure, I said I'm free on this day etc. It's been a week since he asked me and he still hasn't told me when and where so I'm getting annoyed, cause imo the one that asked the other one out should plan. We don't text romantically but there were two phone calls over 3 hours (no romance involved either, just normal conversations). He downloaded my mobile game in order to play with me and played for hours by himself so that we can play rank together. I assume the coffee meeting is a date. But he didn't use the word "date", also we didn't talk about relationships either except for his exes. I have no interest in a relationship nor want to get to know more of him, don't want to continue texting him. I lack the maturity for a relationship, he isn't a fbi-bluecollarworker-man that I'm looking for, he's too extroverted (I'm an introvert), I don't like how he asked me to go on a coffee without making an appointment, I don't like how he doesn't take what I say serious but then gives me unsolicited advice. Normally I would straight up tell men why I don't want to talk to them and that I will stop seeing or texting them, I got complaints that I am insensitive and harsh but it never bothered me. But since he's in my church I need to make a different approach.

So my question is, is it going in a romantic direction? I assume yes.

Then when do I tell him I am not interested? We don't even text romantically so maybe I look like a clown for saying "I have no interest".

I am waiting for him to ask me if I am interested in a relationship or wanting to know him better but he never did. So I don't know how to bring it up. We only texted "regularly" for a week. And it's a waste of time if it continues. Also I don't want to make it awkward when I see him in church.

Why is Vietnam and Turkey such a famous destination for Kazhak people?

I've traveled to Kazakhstan for two weeks and somehow the majority has been either to Turkey or Vietnam. I've been to both and I fell in love with both, I visited Vietnam more than ten times :D I travel a lot and I've never been to a country where almost everyone (my kebab man, the people who would pick me up from auto stop, my tour guide, hostel owners, truck drivers and many more) been to either Vietnam or Turkey. Well, I do know that many people have Turkish DNA and they like Turkey, Vietnam is pretty cheap and in both countries the people are nice and friendly. But are there other reasons why?

I like to hike and see nature. Sometimes I like going through bazaars and seeing some important buildings but I never stay long. So what do you suggest me?

There is a "rent a car" option on yandex go, would you recommend it?

I have seen the big things in Almaty now and would like to see other stuff. But on get-your-guide there aren't any tours that piqued my interests. And public transport to villages is difficult. Do you recommend renting a car there?
