I remember seeing these vignettes some time ago, one for each chapter of the Succession War arc with the number of the chapter in the vignette. Each was very stylized and minimalist in design, and showed some event that happened in the chapter. Does anyone see what I'm talking about and do you know the author of those and where to find all of them?

It's probably a "me" thing but I just hate the concept of powers absorption / mimicry in stories, whether it's games, comics, you name it. It just dilutes the identity of the character and their powerset and always lead to the individual powers to be underused / underexplored. In my (very personal) opinion, Infamous Second Son would have been better if Smoke had been the only power of Delsin, but the devs had considerably expanded his smoke abilities arsenal and deepened the capacities and functions of his existing moves. Hell, every unique move method from the other powersets could have been integrated into smoke.

If Tserriednich had ONE upgrade to give his ability, which would be the best?

1. Can set how his fake self acts and talks in the ephemeral 10 seconds in order to simulate scenarios of his choice.

2. Can interact freely with the objects held or carried by people in the illusion (weapons in their hand, stuff in their pockets) but still not the people themselves.

3. Gets one charge. Can spend this charge to interact with one person in the illusion (like assassinating someone). It takes 24 hours to get the charge back.

4. Infinite range for the illusion.

5. Zetsu is needed to activate the ability (and the fake Tserriednich will appear as staying in zetsu for the people affected by the illusion) but not to keep the ability going (Tserriednich can just drop into zetsu for one second to activate the ability and then deactivate zetsu while keeping the illusion activated).

Do you think we're going to unlock more forms for Aberrant than the three Primary / Secondary presented in all demos and trailers so far or do you think those ones we get right from the start are the only ones we'll play with for the entirety of the game?

If we unlock more, do you have any idea for additional forms?

One of Dylan's variant outfits revealed recently was the "Ministry of Immaterial Objectives" and it has a very Chinese aesthetics, so I guess it may be the outfit of the agents working for that Ministry, which would be the equivalent of the FBC in China.

I hope that we get other examples of such organizations for other countries and some lore about their history, their relationship with the FBC, the threats they've fought, and how they operate. There is so much potential in this setting and I feel like it hasn't been used much.

I'm looking for an old full-color martial arts manga or manhua published in French in the early 2000s. I remember there were four protagonists: one was a cheerful drunken kick specialist, one was a wheelchair-bound fighter dressed in white who attacked using blades hidden in his clothes (like, the edges of the garments could cut, he didn't just drew swords from the clothes), another was a huge muscular martial artist and I remember him fighting a guy who could poison you by just touching you, and he just gave his opponent a handshake so strong it beat the poison. They were fighting an organization of assassins whose members each had a unique named technique like "Death Palm" or something like that.

So you all know the expression "wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle" that has a lot in terms of sheer quantity but very little depth for any of its components. What ttrpg would fit the opposite expression in your mind?

It makes sense to me as I was always kind of confused by some applications of Almighty and how to reconcile that with what it's supposed to do as described by the characters, but as soon as you imagine the characters presenting it as a power that changes the past, it clicked for me.

I just wanted to know what you think about it.

"I normally answer that I don't actually have fave characters - what I tend to have is fave pairings. Characters are dramatic creatures, and it's about how they interact where the thrill is.

To that spirit, Etienne and Valentina are clearly where the book started, and the backbone of them. Their conversations are always great.

There is, of course, the possiblity that the new pairing includes new characters, in which case we cannot really speculate, but if that new pairing is between already existing characters, who do you think they are?

I'd go with Jacky and Heavy. In Part 1, Magus and Heavy have been absolutely hostile to each others, but how much of that was because it was Dev behind the mask and not Jacky? Before the Summer of Love, the Superpowers all seemed to be on friendly terms. Also, Jacky and Heavy are both radical leftists, so without the leash of Valentina preventing them both from taking any real political action and the real Jacky being there instead of Dev, I think it is possible we can have a very solid alliance between Heavy and Magus in Part 2.

I'm looking for fics centered around Legend's powerset, either because Legend is the MC or because the MC has Legend's powers. Does anyone know stories like that?

We have two examples of high-level ants creating new abilities without any training: Cheetuh upgrading his ability with a new function when his back was against a wall, and Pitou creating an entirely new (broken) ability from scratch, an apparently in an instant, just by willing it. Logically speaking, Meruem should be able to do even better than Pitou.

He just limits himself to moving fast and punching hard because he never needed anything else (he basically designed a strategy to counter Netero in the first exchanges of the fight, there wasn't any new technique he needed, just some time to find the right spot), but if he ever found himself against an opponent that would make punching hard and moving fast irrelevant, he would totally be able to just spawn some new hax nen ability out of nowhere, like any Royal Guard seems able to.

Just a little question to know where everything stands on this matter but let's say you were in Dev's shoes and Eliza was replaced by your own loved one, your child, your sibling, your mom, your dad (just pick the one that would hurt the most), fated to experience eternal suffering for the sake of everyone, literally the worst fate any human in history could ever experience, with the only salvation for them being the instant and painless elimination of all humans (and all of reality for that matter)... What choice would you make?

For the sake of this, just try to really picture yourself and your loved one in this situation, especially in the last moments that Dev shared with Eliza. She's looked at the infinite suffering that is awaiting her and you're on the front row to see her complete mental break down day after day, the begging for a little bit of hope, all the horror. I'm pretty sure that a lot of us would take a bullet for our loved one without hesitation, so the matter of sacrificing our own live to ensure they escape this fate is a no-brainer, but there is also the rest of mankind in the equation.

Can you give me your recommendations from good but short SCPs from series VII and onward? I know these Series are more known for longer and deeper SCPs while the short ones are usually found in the first series but I wonder what people came up with when it comes to short concepts later in the SCP database.

If you had to choose 15 SCPs to embody the very essence of the SCP Foundation from its creation to this day and be the only SCP articles to survive and be what the SCP project is, will be and has always been (with no new additional SCP to ever be written in the future), with every other currently existing SCP, tales and otherwise being instantly deleted from the internet and all human memories... which SCPs would you choose?
