2025 Heritage Goodyear Terrain ATs get punctured by driveway rocks!

Yep. Love by two Broncos. But the tires on the 25 are just miserably bad.

Goodyear AT’s, which I thought were bad when they were called Wrangler ATs, but now have become worse.

Fixing a flat, again, that is 5 in a year, are we finally have figured out the cause. The blue granite in our driveway punches through!

We found a rock inside this time and also one still lodged in one hole.

Anyone else hate their Goodyear ATs? Or did they just forget to add the silica to ours?

Does Kempczinski really act like this in person? (USA)

“Part of that was due to the fact that we're getting really inconsistent execution," McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski said on the earnings call. "Only about 60% to 65% of our system is currently executing the recommended pricing architecture with the 10 items for under $3."

OK, Mr Chief EXECUTIVE Officer, how about fixing the execution? Isn’t he just blaming himself?

If SpazeX and Tezla are both AI companies, doesnt that make them competitors?

Isn’t being the CEO of your competitor a conflict of interest? Where are my tesla shareholder lawsuits? He may not be able to be ousted at SpazzX but he sure as shit could be at Teeeezla.

What should the SpaceX Louisiana location be called?

Like their growing town and spaceport outside of Brownsville Texas, the Spacex Pecan island area will need a name of it's own.

Calling it too Starbase would be too confusing.

Old man, ordering UB, what else do I need to order? (Suspension, battery, etc)

GoNan get on the ball here and order an UB. I have been reading about them and what people do to them. I am a Vet Class B rider. I want this thing to be a nice bike to ride in the woods. I have it coming with a 21”: front and have lots of real tires here I can mount up on the 21/18 combo.

Do I need to buy the Sirrus Suspension? I am 6’3” 212lbs with gear.

Any recommendations of other mods I should make? Any recommendations of what DOT tires I should run for 80/20 use?

Thank You all

Water Restrictions -> Anyone know the actual story?

What was the actual reason for them to implement these? I read that “public works recommended” them, but I know that Boone metro Council ignores them as its normal course of business, so I am wondering what the truth is?

Yes, I know there is a ”drought” in the state, but what caused Boone to do this? There is not a unique lack of water in Boone by any measure. The New River, which is both where Boone gets its water and discharges its waste water flows on down hill. All our springs seem to be flowing again (yes, some were dry this spring, but there was no water restriction then.)

My mom says that they are putting the water limits in place to be in solidarity with the Colorado River, which seems both dumb as hell and on point.

I think that the reasonable explanation for the restrictions would be that Boone‘s growth has exceeded their water purification (or sewage treatment) capacity and they are implementing this as a ”fix” so they don’t have to spend money just yet on a real fix or, gasp, addressing the public. This way they can institute the restrictions, wait for App to object, then make App pay for the upgrades that are actually needed because the town council, being bought and paid for already by developers and their families interests, sure as shit doesn’t plan anything until they get their next bribe.

Side note: Part of how to tell some Boone Council BS is that the measure is unenforceable as passed and will be struck down in court if anyone tries. A lawyer woulda told them that, I think. Typically when Boone council wants to do something, they have the law written by a professional and it stands. When they are being shady, they pass some badly written crap that either gets struck down or walked back. I wouldn’t be surprised if they walk this back after the court cases are filed, assuming that timeline meets whatever their actual motivation is. They can always just say, “Oh yeah, it rained.”

What causes this?

Just got back from our first trip. Tow up was fine however on the tow back my sway plate simply bent up and over the draw bar. The trailer is 2600 unloaded but closer to 3200 loaded. Tongue weight is sitting around 500 lbs. The say controller is a Curt bolt on. Both balls were torqued down before we left.

I do not recall taking any crazy right hand turns nor did I hit anything. Obviously I need to replace the plate but I’m more concerned about what actually happened because I don’t want to keep buying plates or have something unsafe.

Did I simply have too much pressure on the friction brake of the sway controller? Or perhaps it’s just a cheap Amazon purchase?

Any thought or ideas are welcome.

IDGAF about your politics, but writing back to some little kid only to be a biotch is lame

"What many folks do not realize is that the money that 'comes from' the federal government actually comes from ordinary citizens who pay taxes to support that government. Therefore, your request that 'the federal government should give a $5,000 tax rebate for all new electric car purchases' means that the federal government must take that money out of the pockets of hardworking people who may not have the means to buy an electric vehicle in the first place."
