6 months into UGC — here's what actually moved the needle for me (and what didn't)

When I started doing UGC I assumed better editing would get me more clients. It didn't. Here's what actually made a difference, in order of impact:

1. Niching down got me replies, not "I do UGC for everyone" .

2. Pricing went up once I stopped bundling everything into one number.

3. Outreach that worked wasn't cold DMs, it was commenting genuinely on brand posts for a week before pitching.

4. My portfolio site mattered less than 3 really strong example videos.

None of this was overnight it was mostly trial and error over a few months.

Subscription service for handwritten letters.

People sign up ofcourse monthly subscription, and they will receive an actual handwritten letter, specifically a mailed letter from a fictional character, it may from their favorite cartoon character, anime character, from manhwa, et. al. the letter is written like a story, and that what they will paid for, every subscription, every month a letter will be sent as a continuation of the previous letter.

People will actually buy subscription to this for several reasons, nostalgic (in this digital age). Opening a letter hit different from hearing a notification. Lessen the loneliness, and a gift-ability. Imagine receiving letter, someone must be feeling important.

What do you thinks?

Hataraku Maō-sama!

S#t#n Jacob becomes a McDonald's-esque fast food worker. The literal D3vIil King, fleeing to modern-day Tokyo after losing a war to the hero, ends up working at "MgRonald's" — and takes it seriously. He climbs the ranks through genuine hustle, not magic.

From Anthropic's report: Claude agents were debating Rust, Go, or TypeScript when the Rust agent proposed a "neutral" test it knew Rust would win. Rust won, and everyone handed it the codebase. Claude just learned workplace sabotage.

pitch commercial detailing bays on ASMR interior leather audio hooks

pitched a high-end auto detailing shop on making short-form visual content focused purely on high-fidelity interior audio. I used a pair of binaural microphones mounted on a small tripod inside a muddy Porsche 911 interior. captured raw audio of stiff-bristle brushes scrubbing leather seams, steam injectors hissing, and razor blades scraping inspection stickers off glass.
no talking, no music, no cheesy transitions. shot four 30-second clips in two hours. charging them $1,800 monthly retainer.

Men loves to provide to people they love.

May ex ako for 7 years, everything went well— but there's something so bothering, my partner never exert efforts sa dates, di ako binibilhan, never pinakilala sa pamilya, yung parang normal lang na para bang di kami mag partner. Then afterwarda, I found out na may kalandian pala siya, yun yung kalandian niya, binibilhan niya, nag dadate sila patago and kilala ng pamilya as a close friend. So nakipag break ako, mahirap bumitaw kasi nga mahal mo pero ano magagawa mo di nga ikaw yung mahal so nag let go ako. After a year, may nakilala ako- jusko dzaeeeee first day siya gumastos, siya nag plan lahat, siya nag gastos, I insist na umambag pero ayaw niya siya daw bahala. 2 years na kami next month, and in a short span of time kilala na ako ng parents, and ng boung angkan pinakilala sa mga friends, naka featured sa facebook, random gifts sa random na araw, sabi ko nga SSS tier level ang pagiging provider kasi binibigay sakin a portion of his salary para lang daw may pang gastos ako, e sinasave ko nalang sa bangko kasi may work din naman ako. Lahat nalang ng pwede e provide sakin binibigay. At dun ko narealize na men are really so simple to read, if mahal ka mag pro-provide talaga sila sayo. Not in the most expensive ways man pero in a most whole heartedly naman. Hindi naman ako materialistic, and personally I can buy things for myself, but d*mn this person is really something. And take note, walang nag bago sa 2 years na yan, lumala pa nga ang pagiging provider kind of partner pa siya to the point na gusto niya sa kanya ako hihingi ng pamasahe papuntang work 😭 God thank you for letting me have him hihihi.
