TFSA or non-reg for the riskier holdings?

Long horizon, high risk tolerance. I’ve got an XEQT core plus some sector/satellite ETFs (semis/AI).

Which account should hold the riskier stuff — TFSA or non-registered? My thinking is risky satellites in TFSA (max tax-free upside) and XEQT in the taxable account, but I keep seeing the counter-argument that losses in a TFSA aren’t deductible and you permanently burn contribution room if a bet blows up.

Which way do you lean and why?

24M, $55.8K TFSA — 83% VEQT + 17% semis (SOXX/QTUM/DRAM). Too concentrated?

VEQT.TO — \~83% (global core)
SOXX / QTUM / DRAM — \~17% combined (all semiconductor/compute)

The satellite is basically one big chip bet in 3 tickers, all red right now. VEQT already holds plenty of US tech.

Trim/consolidate the satellite, or let it ride? Honest takes welcome.

Hello,

Am I missing something? On my TV, I can scroll horizontally through rows (carousel), but on the PC app I can’t. I only see a “See all” option at the end of each row and can’t browse sideways.

Is this normal on PC, or is there a way to enable horizontal scrolling? I’d like to navigate movies directly within the rows instead of opening “See all.”
