Return to work after burnout, in the second week of prozac?

Hi all, I'm new here. I started on prozac three days ago, 20mg in the morning. I find it a little bit intense with how groggy and tired I feel, although I'm energetic in the evening but to an uncomfortable point. TLDR: when can I start to work again where my focus will be alright?

Some history: I had to quit working in 2024 due to burnout, I started to work again from the start of January 2025 with 6 hours a week. Every time I build up to 12-16 hours a week I fell back with anxiety and foggy brain, stuttering etc. I lost my job in the beginning of this year, got extremely depressed but kep working at volunteer companies in hopes I could continue my growth to start working full-time again.

Two months ago I was finally at the point at the therapy waiting list (in my country the waiting list for specialised help are more than 1 year due to shortage in staff) that I could start treatment. We went in deep immediately and I had to quit my volunteering job (it was also boring so I wasn't progressing anyway). I found a new position last week, with a volunteering company that possibly could offer me a job in the future if I'm normal again, but in the meantime I can volunteer at their headquarters. I also really believe in their cause. The thing is, when should I start? I feel like if I would start tomorrow I couldn't function properly. Or is this me just overthinking? I was cycling yesterday up to a bridge to cross the canal, it was a steep bridge so I cycled slower and slower until I forgot to peddle at all because I was looking at the view. I fell, not hard though. That's not normal to me because I could almost cycle blind and still don't have any accidents. So I feel like this is an indication to maybe wait a little bit, but how long? Maybe two weeks? Or more/not at all? I don't want to ruin my chance of something good again. I miss work so much.

Is there a alternative to Filmora that isn't as difficult as Davinci Resolve?

I'm currently on a uploading schedule and don't have time to dive much into Davinci resolve, will do so once I have more time. Is there something similar to Filmora? I just canceled my year subscription.

Monthly payment would be most ideal.

Thanks!

Which notebook for (urban) sketching?

I'll mostly be using ballpoint pen and micron. I have fountainpens (Pilot VP) but never used it for sketching, but maybe I'll try it. Don't want to ruin the nib. Also open to use watercolor but I'm new to that so the notebook doesn't have to be the best paper for watercolor as I don't know if I'll stick to that medium.

Prefer soft cover.

Let me know if any of you have suggestions! ♥️

Which specific Youtube channel, book or course taught you the most? Especially as a beginner

I'm a bit overwhelmed with the amount of books, courses and videos online. So much so that I can't focus because I don't know if I chose the right book or video, and in the end I do nothing.

So maybe I can learn from others who went before me on this journey. I'm looking for something structured instead of picking and choosing here and there. I don't mind paying for something good, but I can't currently take real life classes, maybe next year though.

Has anyone every made a notebook with Midori paper?

Tomoe river paper is also fine, but I really love the Midori paper and I can't find a notebook that is exactly like I want it.

I'm thinking of printing 3.5 x 3.5 mm dots or graph, 300 pages in total and preferably A5 size. Although I don't think you can do that starting with a4 paper, but I'm okay with losing some size.

I like arts and grafts, however I'm new to book binding. Does this seem like a reasonable project?

I feel like the X5 isn't meant to be used at night, any alternatives?

I film with 8k and 30fps, but unless I walk very slowly every step is a bit blurry in the footage. It just doesn't feel 8k at all. I do use the 360 mode so maybe I'm missing something there.

Any alternative camera that makes it look like 8k or at least 4k at night? Preferably in the same price range if that's an option. My city looks beautiful and cozy in the night and I just can't capture it.

I do have an insta 360 go 3s, never used it at night but probably will be the same I think.

My free use of 1TB cloud subscription will end next week, is it useful to buy a new year? Or should I go for a external hard drive?

I don't know if there will be a benefit in having my footage in the cloud. It's useful to upload I think, but in a few years I would loose hundreds of euros that I could better spend on one time on a external hard drive? Or am I missing some important useful feature?

Any recommendations on a good 1TB hard drive?

Women who got OUT of a fully paralysing burnout, what is you recovery story?

How did you get out of it? How long did it take, what worked for you?

Not talking about being tired or sad, but a full-break-on-everything burnout

Finished The Poem Empress, now I don't know what to do with my life. Similar recommendations?

Please let it be at least a trilogy recommendation. I don't want to go through the greaving process of finishing a book if it's again only a stand alone of 400 pages.

Thank you!

Has anyone ever made a private Youtube channel just for family video's?

Strange question, but I feel like people in this sub will know the answer and possible risks. I have a 4K - 8K camera, so my video's are too big to keep on my laptop storage. Would it be save for private video's to be uploaded on Youtube and the link only shared with a few family member? I have a lot of video's in the cloud (1TB trial subscription will expire soon) with my mother where I just put the camera on and we forget about it for hours, but I want them as a memory to show my nieces and nephews. My mother might not be there at some point when they grow up, but I need them to know my mother if she happens not to be in their future. And also for myself of course. But the content is private and needs to stay private. Is there a risk?

How do you (if you do) keep up with what keeps the audience interested in your niche?

I see people asking a lot in here if they're shadow banned etc. because their views drop all of a sudden. I don't believe in shadow banning and think it's just the algorithm taking a different path then what you're on, combined with good/bad thumbnails and video quality.

And now it happened to me. Was growing steadily with a couple of thousand views in the first 1-2 days until the next videos stayed under 80 views in the first week. Thumbnails style is the same, video quality is the same, so I guess other niches are more relevant than my channel.

So, how do you play into this and do research to get your views back? Do you stay steady with what you where doing and wait for the audience to come back and the algorithme to recognise you again? Or do you adjust to the news or what's trending in your niche? Other strategies?

I'm not complaining, I just want to solve it and get back to the path I was on.
Edit to add: I'm doing city walking video's and show popular events like festivals, parades and protests.

Should I private videos that do bad?

My videos have been doing better to a point where I have 2000 views in the first 30 hours. That's much to me. Then the next video got only 28 views in the first 1,5 day. Should I delete it? I'm afraid it wil make my channel look bad or does something to my stats. Or should I just wait?

I panicked a bit because I had almost zero views in the first hours so I kept changing the thumbnail and title. Don't think that makes it better though. Then in the night I got only 20 views.

What is de most beautiful street or place in Amsterdam?

Mijn favoriete straat om door te wandelen is de Egelantiersgracht, vooral in de zomer rond zonsondergang. Het is mooi, het is groen, opgeruimd en gezellig.

Wat is jouw favoriete straat of plek?

My favourite street to stroll through is the Egelantiersgracht, especially during the summer around sunset. It's beautiful, it's green, clean and cozy.

Insta360 X5 stopped stabilization during filming. How to prevent? 8K 30fps

Hi all, I might already know the answer why it happened, but maybe there are some solutions in certain settings to avoid it.

I made a video of an hour long walking through the city, but there is a heatwave going on so possibly that's why the stabilization stopped working? I took a break three times during filming and everything I started filming again the first 5 minutes are stable and from there the rest of the 20 minutes are wobly. I only found out later when I uploaded the footage to the cloud. I thought I might have gotten and notification if the camera is overheated or something, but there was nothing.

Is there also a way to recover the footage to stabilize it again?

Something I wish I new before posting my first video: create multiple videos in advance before posting the first video.

Doing youtube aside my fulltime job, I wish I had planned the beginning period better. If I would start over I would create (editable) content for the first two months, before I uploaded my first video, as to give myself time if life intervened with my uploading schedule.

Because editing costs way more time than I expected. The day after I upload a video I need to start with next week's video. Last December I had two months that where unexpectedly a lot more busy, and my channeled suffered from it. If I had made content in advance I still would have had some back up incase I got sick, need to breath or something unexpected comes up.

Ofcourse this only works if you make content that isn't dependent on trending or news related subjects.

Which amount of views/watch hours are you happy with in the first week, vs when you just started?

Just curious about others perspective and to not forget the joy I used to have with a whole lot less.

I still remember when I woke up in the morning after posting my third video, that I saw 100 views and 30 watch hours. I was ecstatic! I couldn't believe that actual people would together spend a whole 30 hours watching something I made.

These days I would forget to appreciate those watch hours and need to remind myself that what I have now, would make me so happy before. Even if growth at times is very slow.

I used to be happy with 100 views and 30 watch hours.

Now I'm decent happy with 1k views after a week and a minimum of 200 watch hours. I have a channel since 10 months.

So tell me, what amount of views make you feel good and where do you come from? And how long have you had your channel?

How to make a 'walking in the rain POV' video - X5

I want to make an ambience video walking in the rain through the city. How to approach this best and what setting's to use? I always film in 360 so I can later edit the footage. But I don't know if that's the best approach since I don't want my umbrella in the footage with such a wide angle. I know the camera is waterproof but I don't want raindrops ruin the footage.

Any idea's? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I don't want to go walking in the rain for two hours for only it to be useless later on

Men, what do you think the average women finds attractive in a male partner?

I know I know, not all women are the same and taste differs from person to person.

But, there is a reason why certain romance books/series do so well with female audiences. Not that they all are realistic, but I (as a female) can see why the male characters seem attractive even if you leave out the unrealistic (and especially the toxic) parts. And it's not just books and movies but there are a lot of things women generally agree on what is labe as 'green flags' in men.

At the same time there are male dating coaching and podcast that explain on behalf of women what they like or should like, but just because their loud doesn't mean all men view things like that.

So now I'm curious what men generally think women like in men.

What art school offers the best courses/study to become an artist (painting/drawing) when you also work fulltime?

Title basically said it. I draw and paint for fun, but I wish to start from the basics to become (semi) profesional. But I also work fulltime so I can't go to an art school fulltime.

Does anybody have advice where to start in Amsterdam and what route I should take?
