Recliner / glider / rocker

FTM. What do I need here? The recliner/glider combo I want is out of stock. I prefer manual over electric and think I want more than just a straight rocking chair. Trying to decide if I wait for what I want to come back in stock (possibly after baby is here) or look for an alternative. There are so many options at a ton of diff price points!

Stroller from baby registry

I added a Nordstrom exclusive stroller to my babylist registry because they were out of the color I really wanted. My family friend ended up purchasing for us (unexpected, but so grateful!) and now the color I want is back in stock. The original color was delivered to me yesterday and today I called Nordstrom CS and they told me I couldn’t exchange it?? Box hasn’t been opened so I am confused. Is it worth trying to go in to the store with a 40lb box (while being 6 month pregnant 😅) and seeing if they are willing to exchange or will I get the same answer there?

Furniture disposal

I have a few pieces of furniture that I don’t feel are appropriate to donate based on condition. I’d like to just dispose of them but I can’t get a bulk pickup for 3 weeks (planning to call the city this AM!). Doesn’t look like charm takes furniture. Any suggestions?

My cleaning lady’s husband passed away

Hi! I have a bit of an odd question. I’ve had the same cleaning lady cleaning for me for 20+ years (she was my parents and now she does my home too). Her husband passed away. Besides giving her as much time as she needs away from cleaning my house and going to the funeral, what else can I do? Do I give her some extra $$ (they have 6 kids, 2 still at home)? I was going to have a nice bouquet of flowers for her next time she comes. But I want to make sure I’m following the correct etiquette!!!

Massive Declining Water Oak - various quotes to remove

I have a massive water oak that an independent arborist recommended for removal. I’ve had several (8+ 😆) tree companies out to give me quotes. The price ranges are crazy! Anywhere between 6k and 21k for removal. Each have different methods and ideas on how to remove.

My gut is telling me to go with one of the lower quotes (not using a crane and shutting down my street which impacts several neighbors, and even cuts a few houses power off) and that I don’t need the Cadillac company to remove it.

A little back ground, I am in a densely populated area with a house next door and one behind (separated by an alley - not big enough for a crane).

Talk me into or out of going with one of the lower cost options. All companies are insured and have sent me their COI. Is there anything I should do/add on to my homeowners policy to cover me as well in case of any issues?

Pics of the tree, I have a ton more if anyone wants to see.

Sunset cruise / daytime snorkel boat tour

Are there any companies that will allow a pregnant person on? All the ones I’ve come across say not recommended for pregnant people. Thanks in advance!!!

Babymoon in canandaigua

Hi! Looking at a 3-4 day babymoon in canandaigua with plans to stay at the Lake House in mid July. We are looking for something low key and relaxing, but with good food options close by. Is this a good spot? I love a quaint town and really hoping the weather will be close to perfect at this time.
