The now cult classic stop-motion kids TV series 'The Wind In The Willows'.
Originally aired as a 79 minute TV Movie in December 1983.
This was followed by four series, running from 1984 to 1987 on Children's ITV.
The series was revived in 1990 for one last series, under the title 'Oh, Mr Toad.'
Running for a grand total of 52 episodes, with an additional 13 episodes as 'Oh, Mr Toad.'
There was also an hour long special 'A Tale of Two Toads', broadcast in December 1989.
Character voices were provided by David Jason, Peter Sallis, Michael Hordern and Richard Pearson.
Bertha aired on BBC1 between 1 April 1985 –
18 June 1986. Only 13 episodes were ever made.
The series was narrated by, and character voices were provided by the late Roy Kinnear.

Today is my 163rd '(still open) Spoons visited -' The Ounce and Ivy Bush' in East Grinstead.
It is the first' Spoons pub I've ever been in that has a Dart Board. Something which I'm quite surprised at, as I didn't think that 'Spoons did Pub games such as Darts.
Are there any other 'Spoons out there that have Dart Boards, or even Pool Tables?
Around one month ago I posted of prices rises to food and drink items.
Today, I have noticed that prices have gone up AGAIN.
What I've noticed from the items I usually purchase.
Kopparberg Cider Bottles £2.99 > £3.10 (£2.89 in late May)
Guest Ales £3.09 > £3.19 (£2.89 in late May)
Gourmet Burgers £12.12 > £12.22 (£12.02 in late May)
Most food items around 10p increase.
Murphy's has seen a 10p increase since its recent introduction.
Jacket Potatoes and Deli Deals = no increase.
Whilst some may claim the rises are not significant, what has to be noted is that some prices have risen by over 7% from the start of the year.
Especially on drinks.
When we are being told that inflation is 2.6%, price rises at Spoons do not reflect that.
Just seen this on the menu at a nearish Spoons.
Is this a new range coming in, or is it some kind of order mix up with the supplier?
Either way, it doesnt sound a bad curry, and certainly wouldn't mind trying it.

Today was the last day for most to take advantage of the now discontinued £2.99 Food for Thoughts offer.
Replaced with the rather inferior offer of a 'free' cheeseburger, or medium fries, or McFlurry when you spend £5.
If you were lucky enough to get £2.99 offers that last through to the end of July, you now need to go through the hassle of redeeeming these codes in store - even then, this will be at the stores discretion - so they can refuse.
The biggest and most popular Spoons in Swindon, 'The Savoy', is the latest pub that is up for sale.

Situated in the an old Cinema, it is one of two Spoons that now survive in Swindon city centre. (There once used to be FOUR Spoons in Swindon city centre.)

The other branch in the city centre, 'The Sir Daniel Arms' has also been subjected to numerous closure threats over the years. With the most recent (last year) seeing the latest sale being pulled and the pub saved.
Can someone please explain what the difference between these two Co-op loyalty Apps?

I find the Co-op one of the most confusing experiences for loyalty apps.

I have the top app installed (and paid my £1), yet my local branch has literature in store relating the the second app.

Why can't they just have one app for all stores - like every other retailer seems to manage!!

Just looked at the menu for my local and have noticed the prices have gone up on some items since the weekend?
The usual suspects: Burgers, Pizzas, Chicken, Pub Classics and Curries have all seen rises.
Jacket Potatoes and Deli Delis don't appear to have gone up.
In some branches, the prices have gone up by 50p (or more) on some items.

Although I can't understand why the Kopparberg is included in the two for £6.30 deal, when they are £2.89 each (£5.78 for two.
If you are someone who likes to tick off what branches you have been to, have found an issue today.
Usually when you order through the app, an automatic tick is registered that you've visited that branch.
However, I've noticed today that a number of branches I've visited recently have not been automatically added, so I've manually had to enter all these today.
Not sure what has happened for this problem to occur.
I'm currently in the Three Fishes in Worthing.
Although the menu is cheap - it is a 'Top Plates' Spoons, there are no Pizzas on the menu.
How many other branches still don't do Pizzas, plus what is the reason for this?
Just stopped off at Gatwick whilst awaiting a change of trains.
Was surprised how reasonably priced Greggs was at Gatwick Airport in general, especially in comparison to other outlets.
I thought £3.95 for a Bacon Roll and Coffee was quite reasonable in the usual 'rip off' Airport environment.
£5.50 with a side, such as Hash Browns.
Looking at the prices in general, seemed to be around £1 more expensive than on the High St.
It is a shame that other places at Airports don't follow a more reasonable pricing structure.
Am I right in assuming there is no such thing as a staffed Canteen anymore at Sainsbury's.
What I mean by this is a couple of dedicated staff members who prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of the staff and Management on duty.
Food sold was sold at a subsidised price.
If it is the case the staffed canteen is no longer in existence, then if you work all day at Sainsbury's (say 8am to 5pm) then what are your lunch options now?
I can remember when I worked for Sainsbury's (many years ago) there used to be cereals, toast and cooked breakfast options. Hot food, salads and sandwiches at lunch and dinner times.
Just seen 'The Standing Order' in Southampton is closed until 11th June.
I'm guessing closed for a refurb, however the pub isn't that run down to begin with! Especially not compared to others I've been in!
If anything, they should be looking at converting the disused upstairs floors into a Hotel!
Just seen this ad on Reddit.
The ad is somewhat misleading as it seems to imply that if you purchase a Samsung S26 Ultra, that you get a free S25 FE.
However, when you click on the ad, this is not the case at all.
A free Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is available free with a purchase of a S26 Ultra.
The S25 FE will cost and extra £16 a month! Even though the airtime is the bulk of the cost, and £1 for the loan of the phone per month.
There is no way to get the phone without the airtime plan, so it isn't 2 for 1 at all.
Why is it EE are still seemingly unable to run honest and transparent advertising campaigns.
