I don't know if I worded the title correctly but I was wondering if someone could explain why it seems public resources are referred to as resources owned by the government instead of being owned by the people. I'd imagine government and corporate resources under Capitalist systems would be better defined as private resources but it sounds backwards? How do Anarchists understand this?

I don't know what this idea would be classified as but at least personally I don't think citizenship should be the norm. Instead, I think Statelessness should be the norm. At least at some point in the process of Anarchist society? I'm still learning so maybe I don't have a completely clear view on things. However, I believe that having state institutions coerce any person into loyalty to any given nation/state implies ownership of the land any given group stands on. This causes people involved in the distribution of power to not see any value for the land in which they are meant to care for. In this sentiment, all the one and one is all. One cannot escape the relationship they have with the ecosystems around them. Furthermore, citizenship being a norm ultimately seems to enhance the idea of an us vs., them culture. I wanted to see what other people think of this especially since I've still been thinking through this idea!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with incorporating the knowledge of American Sign Languages into your own Zettelkasten? Personally, I use Obsidian MD for my Zettelkasten. I could certainly imagine technical knowledge being easier to input them practical knowledge. Is there anyone who knows how to input more practical usage of ASL into a Zettelkasten?

Hi! I am working on incorporating an understanding of Linguistics into my Zettelkasten notes. Currently, I've been watching the Crash Course series on Linguistics to work on this. I figured that if I understand Linguistical Syntax better I would also gain the ability to convey my intended meaning conversationally. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone had tips on the practical usage of syntax in everyday life?

I use Spoken AAC on Android, however, I am having some issues with volume. I have my volume to the max yet the app is barely audible! I attempted to download one of those volume booster applications but that ultimately did nothing to help as it was the same volume. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still the issue persisted. Is anyone experiencing this issue and/or has anyone managed to find a fix?

I am trying to create a list of my own convictions on various aspects of life, and I was working on how I feel about gerrymandering. And while most of it was going alright, it felt very odd to say outright that it should be illegal. I want the phenomenon eliminated. Still, I understand that anarchism doesn't operate within the same framework as capitalist law systems. I know anarchism is not the same thing as lawlessness; however, when an Anarchist Community comes together to agree to do or not do a repeated action to help keep themselves operating happily, is there a word for it? Like: Is it proper to still say Gerrymandering should be illegal if I'm talking about my own convictions as a student of anarchism?

I just started seeing an occupational therapist so that I can get finger Splints to avoid subluxing my joints. My doctor wants me to figure out what activities cause my subluxations but I'm unsure of where to start. Would someone mind telling me what activities often cause you subluxations so I can grasp an idea of what to look out for?

Edit: By the way, I was given one of those Oval 8 rubber Splints! Reddit won't let me give y'all a picture after the fact which sucks but it is still good news!

For watching Dr Stone I am left wondering how Ryusui would feel about Communism or Anarchism? I know he proclaims how money is often a tool for science often operating through desire. However, oftentimes the way that François describes Ryusui as not being self-indulgent would be because he is better described as a self-less greed. Hence why François said how Ryusui wanted everyone to be able to experience the wealth of progress that he does as a fruition of scientific progress! (This might not be the exact wording though sorry 😂)

While my abusive father drove me to my local ShopRite yesterday, he compared the way I buy food the way my abusive mother bought food when they were together. Stating that we both buy a World War 2 Surplus of Food that goes bad. However, I don't believe there is any real comparison to be made here since after they divorced we kept finding expired food of hers from ex. 2014! Is there a word for the experience of having an abuser comparing a child/adult-child to their ex? Is that what co-comparison is or is that a different thing entirely?
