Long story short I’m in Europe for an internship. I’m American but , by US standards I’m poor lol. Young recent college graduate vibes. I’m in a low-cost country here (Kosovo). I went to Mother Theresa Catholic Church to pray this afternoon and I just sat there and started crying bc I miss home and I miss family. Then , some Albanian man comes to me in the Pugh, frantic and acting brazen. Going off about his dad in the hospital and his mother also being sick maybe? And how he rented a car and now owes someone 80 euros. I told him I could buy him some food and clothes if he needed them but I couldn’t pay off his debts for him. I was convicted by a viral post on here that said many Christians won’t be going to heaven because they don’t give to the poor and help the homeless more (Mathew 25:43). Well €45 Euros later, he has a new outfit , new shoes and some food to make sandwiches, in addition to some euros I gave him for bus. Why don’t I feel better about what I did? Instead I just feel like I got used and robbed by someone I do not know and I don’t know if they’re truthful about their situation. I’m not doing this bc I’m expecting blessings or expecting this to be a turning point in my salvation. I did this bc that guys post on here a week ago really convicted me, as an American I can be doing more to help others across the world. We live in a bubble in America and we have the audacity to complain about so much. Meanwhile there are 3rd world countries like Kosovo where people have much less and are more happy. I’m trying to find myself here in Balkans. Heal from a lot of spiritual, mental and physical trauma I’ve experienced throughout life. It’s nice to be able to go to old churches and monasteries here to do that. But Europeans are so much more different than Americans. They don’t feel like believers in the way Americans are. Granted Kosovo is 97% Muslim.

I’m just going to preface this by saying I am aware there is no scientific cure or functional cure for GHSV-2. But in the holistic, spiritual, folk healing world, strange things have happened. I am in Kosovo this Summer for a job. I went to Albania last weekend. My point/question is , is anyone aware of any healing sites, monasteries , holistic healers, healing springs , etc in the following countries: North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Northern Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia or Bosnia? I just spent my first week in Prishtina and boyyy it was nothing like I expected. I’m American and 24, guy. Between the minor embarrassments of not weighing my fruit before checking out in the market (I didn’t know) and realizing people here don’t smile or greet when you walk by them, I like Kosovo a lot. The people here, the energy, the vibe, You guys are cool. Needless to say, I haven’t really made any friends yet. I like hiking, walking, excercise, going out and traveling.
