I was messing around with my two gold blocks and these shelves and accidentally made this closet. Maybe its something some of you can use in your builds (;
Samsung LOG HDR, Blackmagic Camera app, 10 bit H265, 160mb/s.
I feel like i didn't colorgrade dramatically enough. Im happy enough with the first part and a few of the shots in the second part (for example the one you see in the thumbnail), but i feel like the rest of the ones in the second part are booooring...
Do you guys have any tips or great Youtube tutorials i should watch for more dramatic or stylistic color-grading? What do you guys think about my look? What should i try differently next time?
And also... by watching the video, you're helping the algorithm send it out to more people (since it has only 10 views right now), soo if you're here to just watch 3sec and leave, then I'd rather if you'd not watch (no hate, i just want the best for the algorithm), and i know i deserve the views amount for what quality i make, but you could always help a brother out by watching the whole thing and giving it a like, right? (;
Thanks guys, im planning to do this as a job so every buck earned from this channel will go to gear or software. 😁
I've heard that its supposed to happen in the first 24h - 48h, it's been 60h...
Should i wait more or re-upload it or something? This is my first video I've made on this channel, it's a brand new channel and all that...
I have similar interests on my private account to what the video is about, am i allowed to watch it, especially before it even gets pushed out to the algorithm, or is watching it and sending good stats to Youtube a great thing?
I accidentally deleted all my data in the facebook app when cleaning up my phone (it was 7gb so im actually happy about that part). The problem is, i didn't write down what mail or phone number i used for the account. I've now spent 5 days trying to log in trying every account i have (like 7) and my phone number, but i still can't log in.
Were there any features a few years ago (when i first logged in, maybe in 2021 or something like that) where you could log in without a phone number, or without a mail? Because i feel like the only explanation now is that i logged in using WhatsApp, or facebook 🤷♂️.
Someone please help me, if you have any info about how this system works or maybe some random things that messenger does differently from other normal platforms that do logging in please help.
I got recommended this Bugatti commercial on Youtube. My first impressions were: "oh, this was shot well, looks like a big company finally spent a bit more of their budget on planning, videographers and the editing department ", but the second impressions were like "This looks oddly like a game".
Maybe its some color-grading, camera settings or lens decisions but some of these really look more like renders instead of real footage.
Look at the first image in this post, the shadows feel too dark, everything seems a bit smooth, the texture of the rock wall on the left side of the road looks fake and the blur fall-off looks kinda wierd.
Image 2. and 6. either had some really good lighting set up, or they must be renders, just look at them...
The 3rd and 7th image here show some interesting camera angles that I've definitely seen in car games and they just look a bit to perfect to be true. Maybe they had a long time, some real good directors and a great camera team, but im still unsure.
Image 9 is what gets me the most, these buildings look fake af bro. Look at them, someone definitely had some interesting choices when filming and editing this or it must be CGI.
I'd love to get your guys opinion on this because its really been budging me since i saw it. Here's the link https://youtu.be/2Exzu3qzMxM to the commercial if you want to see the movement. They would definitely get an award from me if this is fully CG, It looks so real that it's crossing the line between if i know if it's real or not. Oh, and if it is real, great videography and post-processing choices for whoever did this, except for the making it look like CG part... 🤠
Im doing the 1-2 day step-away thing on this video to see if it's helpful. Are there any other things i should take into consideration when i come back? Im probably a bit biased about this video so it will be great to hear some feedback from a different perspective.
The idea was to make the first part a bit more orange or hotter in temperature than usual footage and then the other part, with the coloseum.. a bit more blue or cold.
Should i look more into consistency maybe? I feel like the sky color changing makes it look wierdly but im not sure if anyone even looks at that...
Zanim przeczytasz reszte, to chcę powiedzieć że nie chce nikogo tutaj skrzywdzić, ale sytuacja wydała mi się troche śmieszna więc zdecydowałem ją tutaj postować...
Jak wyszukasz na Google "what is non binary" (co to niebinarne) to dostaniesz odpowiedz: "A gender identity that does not fit strictly within the traditional male or female gender binary", albo po polsku "ludzie którzy nie mieszczą się ściśle w tradycyjnym podziale na płeć męską ani żeńską".
I dlaczego
I was recently on vacation and was somehow able to gather up 1400 clips. I've never worked with this much footage before so i have a little problem... I don't really know how to start. I know i probably want a captivating intro to catch peoples attention (im posting this to Youtube) so i chose the best shots i captured and but them in the beggining of the timeline (in turquiose color), all the clips before the orange colored ones are also pretty cool/good but the turquiose ones were the select best. The rest of the clips are after the orange ones. As you can see, this is a lot of footage. What im trying to ask is, has anyone ever edited this amount of footage? How did you start? How long did the video end up to be and how long did it take to complete editing the video?
I made him about half a year ago and he's been standing here since. What do i do with him? I don't really feel like selling him because money isn't important right now and i kinda like him, but it's creepy to wake up and see him at the end of the bed next to my feet every morning.
I've just come back from a vacation in Turkey and Poland, I've captured 200GB or 1200 log videos on my Galaxy S25. Im getting a good laptop in a few days and im gonna start piecing together and editing the video on it. Is there anything i should learn, or maybe some tutorials or YouTube channels yall recommend to watch before i start?
The images are some clips i picked out to color grade on my stationary pc before i actually start with the propper video. The laptop im getting is the Galaxy book6, i believe it has an 1080p display, the monitor i use with my pc has 1440p, is this a big difference and something thats really important or is editing on the laptop ok?
Also, I've noticed that not all of my clips are consistently graded, is this important or do you not notice it when watching the video?
If you guys have any feedback, YouTube videos or things i should look into, please comment them, thanks 😊.
Edit: Oh, and do you guys also do that thing where you leave your project for a day or two, and then come back with fresh eyes. Is it worth it to do that or not really?
What do you guys think, do i need to improve on anything? What should i try next to become better?
Oh, and if you're up for the challenge, guess which of the photos is a screenshot of a video that was also shot trough sunglasses that made the whole video tinted almost fully purple. (Hint: the sunglasses made the shutterspeed longer, causing more motion blur)
What do you guys think, would you change anything?
If you search up YouTube banner size you can see where the lines cross between what parts are shown on different devices. TV sees everything and phones just see the morphed "Mati720" and the top of the green guy's head.
Roast me!
What do you guys think, any feedback on how i could improve my photography and/or editing skills? Im going on vacation soon and want to be the best photographer version of me thats available right now. So go on, roast me, tell me what i should improve so that i don't look like some guy putting random filters over non motivated photos of boring places!
It's pretty cool that MrBeast decided to give this tech a chance and use it in an actual video. I think it turned out pretty cool and could be useful for some situation, for example if you can't use a drone, but it still lacks quality and detail.

Does these styles look good or should i do things differently?
Im trying to improve and learn before i go on my vacation this summer (im gonna be taking a lot of photos) so go on and criticize me as much as you want. I'd rather cry because of a hate comment than live in delusion thinking that my photo editing skills are good, when they aren't.
Oh, and if someone knows how far I've gone in my editing journey, what did you do at that point to become better and learn more?
I've been colorgrading videos for fun now for about a year. And recently a realization hit me, i looked at a not so old video i colorgraded, and it looked shit! Crazy over-saturated, too much contrast and all the other things beginners do. So this time i tried going a bit less crazy with my colorgrades and this is what i got...
Clip 1: Log footage
Clip 2: Transformed to rec.709
Clip 3: Final colorgraded footage
What should i focus on more/improve on to become better at colorgrading? Im going on a vacation soon and im gonna be filming a lot, I'd love to do stylized colorgrades, but i don't fully understand how to yet. So what should do first, or should i just jump right into trying stylized (or, more like... proffesional) colorgrading?
Here's a video i made where i showcase all of the best photos I've taken trough the last few years on my Samsung Galaxy A54 and the S25.
What do you guys think?
I think phones can be and are better or just as good as proffesional cameras in 90% of situations, and if you're using your phone as an excuse for not starting in photography then you should just stop, and think again.
Professional cameras are only usefull for video/photo in dark conditions such as nights and if you need zoomed in video/photos and situations where strong background blur is important. Everything else can be captured on phones...
Why can't they make an extra limited version that lets you save projects, or even lets you save but not open for example...
Or just make the damn software free, imagine how many new artists would emerge and how it could change the world...
