My Thought On My 3 Toy Cameras

I posted a couple of days ago about my 3 new mini toy cameras. Here is a bunch of comparison photos taken from them. The first 3 photos are from the chuzhao, the middle 3 from the G13 and the last 3 from the G10. BTW I originally tried to post this a few days ago in a slightly different format and it was auto deleted. I have since been unable to reach mods for this sub and I'm wondering if any mods are active?

With each camera I took one indoor photo that is just a part of my living room during a sunny day, one up close shot of the same item at night when the lighting wasn't as good, and one outdoor shot. I bought all 3 cameras on temu, and their pricing is constantly changing, but i paid about 40$ CAD for the chuzhao, about 12$CAD for the G10 and about 20$CAD for the G13. All 3 of them take a micro SD card for memory and type C plug in port for recharging. Here are my thoughts on the 3 of them. Keep in mind I am new to the hobby and don't have a ton of photography experience.

Chuzhao: Initially this was my least favourite of the bunch, but it has grown on me. The digital screen is on top and is designed for taking waist level photos. It has a flash and the crank on the side can be used to take videos, which I was not impressed by because cranking it makes the video very shaky. I have been informed you can take videos the normal way as well though. I do like the image quality on this one and have managed to take some nice photos of flowers on it that were quite clear. the waist level photo taking is nice on a walk, but I like taking pictures from my car, so this one is not the most convenient for me. I also find this slightly too big to really be considered pocket sized.

G13: Now that I have tested them all out, this one is actually my least favourite of the bunch. It is very small and pocket friendly, has several different photo options, such as black and white, and various colour options. it has a flash and the screen on the back can flip up for selfies. It has the worst image quality out of the three though. It has an auto focus feature that I find does not work very well, and it also makes a beeping noise every time it focuses, so if you are walking around with your camera on it is just beeping at you over and over.

G10: This one is my favourite! It is the same size as a lipstick and slips into a pocket perfectly. It doesn't have flash, but the image quality is quite nice. It has similar photo options to the G13 with different colour options, black and white, sepia, etc... and takes decent video. there is a small screen on the back and the head swivels around so you can use it to take selfies as well. So far all of my favourite photos have come from this camera. Considering this was also the cheapest of the bunch, I am very happy with it!

Jo Malobe Veggie Collection Review

I bought the discovery set of these almost immediately after seeing an ad. I just want to smell like a vegetable garden at all times. Here are my thoughts after wearing each one.

Carrot Blossom Cologne: This is the one I thought i would love the most. Carrot and fennel? How could you go wrong? They managed it somehow. When I first sprayed this on my wrist I was pretty worried. I got an insanely strong amplified soap smell that clung to me for about 10 minutes before dying down. It was all I could smell with no other notes coming through. The soap smell calmed down and the Carrot and patchouli notes came through a bit after that. It is still soapy but with some sweet earthyness underneath. No fennel comes through on me. I am pretty disappointed in this one compared to the other two.

Scarlet Beetroot Cologne: This one is a bit confusing to me. It is supposed to be a mix of blackcurrant and beetroot over a patchouli base. On my skin I do get the earthy beetroot scent and some patchouli, but not much blackcurrant. The confusing part is that over all that I am getting some sort of very fresh airy note that I cannot put my finger on. Its a bit powdery and just makes me think of fresh spring rain. I was not expecting a beet scent to be fresh was expecting deep rich and earthy. I like it though!

Velvety Butternut Cologne: I saved the best for last, which was a surprise to me. I thought this would be my least favourite of the bunch. This one is giving the true earthy vegetable goodness I was expecting from the other two. The ginger gives a little fresh zing, but it is a very warm scent overall. It's like a warm bowl of butternut squash soup on an autumn day. It smells comforting and creamy with a woody base and the patchouli is very nicely blended into this one. I think when the weather turns colder I will be reaching for this a lot!

I bought some toy cameras and they all fit in one hand!

A couple weeks ago I got my girlfriend a toy camera and we were both having fun taking photos that looked like our old high-school pictures (mid 2000s).

I really liked it and they were fairly cheap so I got a few more to try out and play with. These all came from temu and I will be testing them out to compare image quality today.

The yellow one is a g10 mini camera, which has a swivel head and a tiny screen on the back. The green one is a g13 pro mini camera and the little screen on the back flips up for selfies. The last one is the chuzhao vintage retro toy camera. It has a screen at the top of it which is interesting but so far looks like it makes taking photos a little awkward unless you are standing and facing your subject directly.

A post with photos from the cameras is coming soon!

Red Eyeshadow Look on Hooded Eyes!

I did this look a week ago that I was very happy with! Sadly despite using a good primer this one did crease as the day went on since it was over 40° and I was quite sweaty all day...

I just want to point out a couple of things though. I often see people saying they cant do a dramatic look without big thick eyeliner, which I find often doesn't work with my eye shape, so I skipped it. I have simply tight lined with a black pencil and the rest is eyeshadow. I also often see people saying to about shimmer shadows that bring out the hood more. That one drives me nuts. I've got shimmer and glitter all across my hood and all the way up to my brows here. My hooded eyes are beautiful and deserve to be emphasized. So are yours!

Products used on my eyes are the elf power grip primer, eyeshadows from both shellwe and cheeryep, the Annabelle stay sharp eyeliner pencil in black, and Essence lash princess mascara.

To Everyone Concerned That My Last Candy Haul Was Too Small.... Here's The Real One!

My previous order was just from a more local area that I knew would ship faster. It was to tide me over until this haul arrived from The Swedish Candy Land!

I got 10 different varieties from their pick n mix. Starting from the top left corner we have: Sour cola lemon O'clock, caramel foam mushrooms, haribo maoam cola, lemon and lime licorice slices, Rambo fizzy dynamite sticks, sour mango cola bottles, rhubarb lemon licorice rolls, sour pear twins, maoam kracher fizz break, sküm cola, knatter cola and some complimentary haribo gold bears.

I Maybe Overdid It On My Candy Order

I ordered from candy fun house last week and maybe got a few too many candies... I think i was trying to spend enough to get free shipping?

I tried to order mostly candies I have never seen or tried before, except those apple allows which are a definite favourite of mine! So far I have tried the haribo pico balla and the haribo soda twists.

The pico balla was pretty disappointing. Its a sort of licorice rind wrapped around a fondant filling with various fruit flavours. The taste is fine, but there is too much fondant compared to the chewy outer part. I also think it being sliced into such thin pieces doesn't help the texture. The soda twists were better, but still not my fave. Usually I love any cola flavour but this cherry cola tastes weird. The candies also have a very jelly texture compared to most gummies. Im not sure how i feel about that, but the rhubarb and apple flavours are excellent!

I Had A Blast Last Night In Montreal!

I didnt take any full outfit pics, but here are my and my girlfriend's purses covered in trinkets at the end of the night! The second pic is the trinkets I brought to trade, glow in the dark pebbles, and the final pic is some of the trinkets I acquired at the concert! I also was given a few bracelets that I forgot to put i the last picture.

I loved seeing everyone's crafty outfits! I stood near the back because I have a bad knee and needed something to lean on to be comfortable, but it was the perfect vantage point to watch all the hot smoochie girls walk in and see their full outfits!

I want to take someone who is pretty early on in their transition to get their brows shaped nicely for the first time. I'm hoping it won't break the bank, but im willing to pay a little more if I know the people there are going to be friendly and inclusive.

I have always just done my own brows so I don't know where to go at all, but I'm not confident enough to do hers.

Ive got some mushrooms, a package of coleslaw (cabbage and carrots) that is a bit past its prime and should be cooked as well as some Fresno chilis that have been in there a coupke weeks. They should really all go into dinner tonight.

I'm vegetarian. I've got a pretty full pantry, lots of canned beans, potatoes, onion, tinned tomatoes, rice, flour, etc.... I have a full spice drawer with tons of spices for many different cuisines. I also have eggs and cheese as well as a few other veggies in the fridge.

I'll be honest I would usually do a soup, but spring is springing and the weather is nice and I'm just not feeling a bowl of soup for dinner. That feels like a cold weather meal.
