Okay - I'm sure our smol fren's all have quirks. Queen HeiHei has a quirk which I can't explain and I haven't been able to capture this on camera yet because I don't always film but nonetheless it's a funny one.

She will nibble my ear when she's on my shoulder. This is almost usually a sign of her wanting scritches which I gib but for the times where she still nibbles and refuses a la scritch she just wants me to watch her preen 🤣🤣🤣.

Cannot explain.

This is a follow-up on my recent post about needing to get a report out. If you don't know, the original post is here - I had

to work overtime in order to get it done.

It's a weekend now and I was hoping to relax by playing guitar but seems like I was only allowed to borrow it. As I've stated before I do not hold any possessions unfortunately.

I was told that I could borrow her laptop. Ironically I wasn't able to actually use it and I really need to get these reports done.

HeiHei is still my lovely Queen but I will never forget my dear Max who died a distinguished and elderly 25 years of age. He was my first and I knew him for almost his whole life (barring his first 10 weeks). It's hard to let go as I was roughly 13-14 when I first go him (I have just turned 38). He died last October 12th and soon after I acquired HeiHei at 4-weeks of age in early January 2026. Max would have loved HeiHei to bits.

Max was so goofy and loveable. His passing affected me in so many ways that I can never heal from his loss.

Also in this video is DoDo, a male who is verging on the end of his life. I don't often post about him as he is feeling poorly and I generally don't like to film/photo them at this frail age. For all intent and purposes, DoDo still has a liking problem with HeiHei in that he doesn't...but it's okay, there is still time.

One thing all new prospective Tiel owners should know is that keyboards are universally the Throne of Choice if not ones head....and now I'm being held hostage and I need to get this report out...

So, Queen HeiHei will be 1 year old on November 30th so we've got a long way to go yet but she's been practicing for her passport photo. I think she looks stunning her.

French Bean

She has many hobbies but amongst her favourite are chewing on door frames, eating keyboards, shredding prized Pokemon cards, spending hours preening and making sure she is looked at whilst she does this (girls gotta look her best right?).

She expects full attention which means when she flocks calls you best bet your tielbuttocks better be there. She only likes scritches when demanded and does not like speculative scritches (you can ask the last Tiel what happened when he tried).

Lastly, she is looking for a slightly older male. She doesn't mind any variety but she does have a preference for larger birbs, specifically those that are larger than she is to help fend off her stranger hoomans (aka the in-laws and other extended family).

So, who are are the candidates? Please show me with a description as to why the birb in question is suitable.
