To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the Backrooms.

The horror is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of analog horror theory most of the terror will go over a typical viewer’s head. There's also Clark's hidden descent into madness, which is deftly manifested into his characterization - his final moments draws heavily from Francisco Goya's infamous 1823 painting, Saturn Devouring his Son, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these metaphors, to realize that they’re not just scary- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence larpers who dislike the bathrooms truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the horror in Clark’s existencial catchphrase “I AM AN ARCHITECT,” which itself is a cryptic reference to The Good Doctor I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated still lifes scratching their jelly-stuffed heads in confusion as Kane Parsons genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO know every level from Level 0 to Level 999. I was on the original 4chan thread before any of you trendhopping chuds. And no, I will not explain the canon to you. It's for the OG fans only- And even they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 Backrooms wiki revisions of my own (preferably fewer) beforehand.

Is it not possible to delete a closed merge request?

I'm pretty sure my project has merge requests that are still referencing branches, commits and files/assets that don't exist anymore.

I'm pretty certain that these merge requests are causing these files to still be remembered by Git LFS, which costs a lot of storage space

I want to delete all of my closed merge requests, but I can't find a delete button anywhere. Are merge requests (once completed) not supposed to be deleted? or am I blind AF ...

How did the backrooms manifest a clone of Clark's ex-wife if she was never physically present there to be remembered?

Is it possible to garbage collect unused assets in Git LFS?

This project has been completely cleaned to only contain 1 branch with 1 super squashed commit, which only references 15.6 GB worth of Git LFS assets.

However, the usage breakdown reports 19.4 GB worth of storage being used for the assets. The remaining 3.8 GB appears to be from old LFS assets that existed before the cleanup, but are no longer referenced by any branch or commit.

Does Git LFS/GitLab have a way to force garbage collection of unreferenced LFS objects?

Game publishing websites that allow ~3.5 GB?

Hey, I'm a Game Dev student and I'd like to start publishing my games to build a portfolio. Are there any public websites that allow for a game to be published of 3.5 GB? Itch.io only allows for 1 GB, and steam requires a payment of 100 dollars 🥲

Why is our scene so dark?

https://gyazo.com/ca6a80d0831d07537c7788d64094b8b2

Hey, we have to make a game in UE5 for a school project. Our enemies are extremely hard to see in our scene, does anyone have any idea why?

  • There's a skylight with intensity 20
  • There's a directional light with 0,1 lux
  • Turning auto exposure on/off doesn't change anything
  • The model's materials are fine

I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance

Is having a meaningless name for my app a dealbreaker? (Atruno)

I'm currently developing a SaaS LMS app, so think BrightSpace, Google Classroom, Blackboard, Canvas, Teams etc.

Each one of those names have a very tangible meaning regarding education, I worry that Atruno would feel like an outlier, making the app/site convey less trustworthyness.

However, I'm very confident in my market and design; You'll hear many students and teachers complain about those platforms being extremely cold and administrative focused (as opposed to student focused). It's hard to find any general information about the institution, their news, (non-course related) announcements, how the faculty and staff is structured, the elections the school has, how their campus is structured, their student bodies/study associations and much more. I believe that I possess an incredibly promising design (reviewed it on non-biased student opinions)

Please be honest, will a meaningless name hurt my brand?

I haven't even imagined what logo the app will have, but the main color is bordeaux

I've always been under the assumption that Toph can only use Seismic Sense by touching earth-bendable terrain. Is this wrong?

Should I emit the peace sign?

In the context of a LMS app much like Brightspace, Canvas, Google Classroom or Blackboard, does the peace sign look out of place? I'm fearing that it's too casual or friendly for an institution app that's supposed to portray security and authority

The reason that I thought the symbol to be a good idea in the first place, is because of the app's purpose of being a Brightspace with much more focus on making the students feel closer connected and more comfortable to the school's culture, events, faculty and public resources. Which is also why I called it Nexus (which means "Connection" in Latin).

But no matter what it try it feels a little out of place to me, but I might need a second hand opinion

The first 4 images shows stuff I've tried. The last image shows an example of how the app looks like on the inside

Teachers using Canvas/Brightspace/Blackboard/Teams, what are your biggest frustrations or missing features?

Is there anything you find frustrating or outdated?

Are there any features you'd love to have regarding student engagement, communication, grading, research, collaboration or statistics?

I can't scroll on avatar twitter for a single second before seeing random Korra hate

I am trying twitter out, I showed my interest in avatar content so it shows up on my feed, but every other post related to avatar ends up being Korra hate..

I personally thought she was cool but it seems that most disagree, atleast you'd think if you had to experience my feed for no more than 2 minutes

If "dirt eater" and "ash maker" are slurs used on earth and firebenders, then I think that "twinkle toes" is lowkey the same type of racist slur against airbenders, or does Toph have the pass?

u/MaybeAFish_ — 2 months ago

Is it possible one of Katara’s parents was actually a waterbender who just never realized it? If not, then it pretty much confirms that nonbenders can have bender children.

But if that’s the case, does that deadass mean there was not a SINGLE person left in the world with any airbender lineage after the Fire Nation wiped them out?

Bumi and Kya at least have that ancestry, so in theory they could make an attempt of relieving some of Tenzin's burden, unless they both really did not want to have children
