Rant incoming

I am in Toronto it’s raining today. I was just going southbound on Bayview on my Victory Boardwalk at Davisville. Light turns green according to the weather conditions I was easy on the clutch but the old guy in the SUV going north decided to turn left right away right in front of me. I honked he layed on his horn and kept going. Normally I’m pretty quick off the light but am feeling grateful that I didn’t do that this time. I felt like following this old guy home and giving him a face full of my helmet but thought better of it. Just a friendly reminder that even when we’re right we lose.

I was watching a World Cup match today when the commentator said “competitive” I shouted at the TV “competitive dad”

Things like this happen daily at this point.

I'm looking to get a new full face helmet sometime on the near future. I'm looking for some recommendations on something good but lightweight. My last full face was a Shoei when I was 18, I'm 60 now been wearing beanies and half helmets since that one got stolen. I suffer from migraine so therefore never really wanted to go back to full face until now, (the weight has always been a concern).

The older I get the more I think a good full face is in my future. So what are your recommendations for a lightweight full face that will provide the protection I'm looking for?

Budget is flexible I figure I've waited this long to address this so I don't mind spending a bit to get what I want.

In a recent post we were talking about pleating choices. I wanted to post these here. When I got the Royal Naval Association tartan made into a kilt these were some of the options the kilt maker gave me. I chose the second photo. This is an example of why getting pleating options pinned up first is so important. These two options show off the tartan so differently.

Set off my first car alarm with my 2013 Boardwalk today. It freaked me out because I have stock pipes but it sure made me smile. It was a FedEx truck hope I didn’t scare the delivery guy too much.
