Recommendations for a good comedy

I’m looking for something new to binge watch after hubby goes to bed. As much as I like TBBT and TAAHM, I can only watch them so much. He is a creature of habit, so I haven’t watched many new sitcoms from 2012 to present. Throw them at me. Thanks!

Shirley has Brooklyn accent in the pilot of Laverne & Shirley

I just saw the pilot episode for the first time in years yesterday, and I immediately said to hubby “Shirley sounds weird!’ Today was e2, and though it says online they changed her accent midway through season 1, I didn’t hear it today. I don’t ever remember her with an accent.

I always wondered what Granny really looked like

I was born in the 60’s, so I never saw the show until our local classic comedy channel added it to their line-up earlier this year. I absolutely love it, and sing along to the theme song every time. I finally decided to look-up Irene Ryan, and I was blown away. You would never know that is the same person! She was awesome as Granny!

Felix is high-strung, a neat freak, and obsesses over almost everything. Oscar is carefree, relaxed and a huge slob. They are as opposite as they come.

Sonesta Maho Beach

I want to be in that turquoise water so bad! After vacations in Paradise Island (4x), Cancun, PR and DR, we are looking to go somewhere new, and Sint Maarten is on our list. This resort looks beautiful, but looks can be deceiving. My hubby and I are not in good shape physically, so one of my questions is about the beach…is it a long walk to get into water and is water calm? And, of course, I’d appreciate any other information you can provide. Thanks!
