Ferry prices and time table

I’ve noticed a lot of tourists taking photos of the ferry schedule, so I wanted to share something useful. There’s an official website that shows the full timetable and live status updates, including whether the ferry is operating or not.

Self medication

Hey y’all,

Finding out I had ADHD was supposed to be the start of getting help, but instead it turned into a long cycle of medications that never really worked for me. Doctors and psychiatrists kept switching prescriptions, yet the real problem wasn’t just the meds, it was the system around them. I’d forget doses, struggle to even get myself to pick up the prescription, or get stuck because I needed another form signed. Every step felt like a barrier, and it always seemed like I was set up to fail.

About five years ago, I started smoking weed just to relax. I wasn’t expecting anything major, but slowly I noticed something different happening. My mind felt clearer. I could actually focus on what I needed to do. If I was running late, my whole day didn’t collapse. I could accept small mistakes the way other people do. I could follow up on messages instead of freezing. It didn’t cure ADHD, but it changed how I functioned in a way nothing else had.

Eventually, I got a medical card and began using it daily. Since then, my life has shifted in ways I didn’t think were possible. I have a stable job. A loving partner. Healthy habits. And maybe the biggest change, I don’t forget to eat or starve myself because I’m overwhelmed. I feel like I finally get to live my life instead of constantly fighting it.

Everyone finds their own way eventually. This just happens to be mine, and I wanted to share it.

Can we get more mods?

We are getting more and more member each month, that is great and I love that we get more posts per day compared to a year ago.

But can either the current mods be active or delegate their work to someone who are maybe a bit more active? everyday I see at least 4-5 posts that shouldn’t even be on this subreddit and questions that have been asked a billion times at this point.

I volunteer to be a mod if y’all want as I am chronically online.

That’s all, have a great day folks.

Golden Leaf CHRA #30 — First Impressions

Golden Leaf opened today and honestly made a great first impression. The owners were incredibly welcoming, the space is large, and you can already see how it’s going to develop into a cozy, member‑friendly environment.

I picked up their Day 1 strain, Orange Sherbert, and it’s surprisingly solid for a launch batch. I’d give it an 8.8/10 Big buds, smooth taste, grinds well, and overall feels like a strong start for them. If you’re in the south and unhappy with your current club’s quality or pricing, this one looks like it’s going to offer a better range and better value based on what I’ve seen so far.

Agreement for food couriers signed! higher wages, overtime pay, and stronger protections

Times of Malta just reported a “historic” collective agreement between the GWU and the Malta Delivery Fleet Operators Association, finally giving food couriers a proper framework of rights and protections.

Key points:

- Basic wage higher than the national minimum wage

- Overtime pay, proper working hours rules, and statutory bonuses

- Sick leave & vacation leave now clearly defined

- Stronger occupational health & safety standards

- Agreement aims to create fairer competition so companies respecting workers aren’t undercut

- Government says it’s a step toward professionalising the sector and ensuring transparency

- Comes after ~200 couriers joined the GWU last year, calling conditions “modern‑day slavery”

I'm glad to see that progression is being made for the couriers we have in this country. Nobody deserves to earn less then minimum wage, that's why it's called minimum. Well done to the ministers signing off on this

TFT Double Up SoloQ Experience, Is This Normal?

I’ve mainly played ranked as my primary mode for a few seasons now. When Double Up first released, I tried it but dropped it quickly since it didn’t have a proper ranked system.

Now that ranked is in Double Up, I gave it another shot and honestly, the experience has been… weird.

It feels like most players are on mobile, which is totally fine. I also love chilling in bed and playing TFT on my phone. But if you can’t communicate, at least scout my board so we can:

- Avoid playing the same comp

- Send each other units we actually need

My first few games went well. Solid econ, strong early/mid game, good positioning. But my teammates either:

- Don’t know what to play

- Copy my board

- Or run completely random comps instead of anything meta, A‑tier, or even remotely coherent

I’m only Plat 3 in normal ranked, so I’m not expecting Challenger‑level coordination. But almost every match feels like my partner is either brand new or a bot.

Is this just the general SoloQ Double Up experience, or have I just been unlucky with teammates?

Times of Malta alternative?

After not being able to read an article in times because I did not have an account is weird for me. I don't want them to have my full name, email, age, and more information simply for reading a 3 min article.

The same way I say no to cookies, and use reddit. I want as little digital footprint as humanly possible. What is a good reliable source that I can read online without any signups?

I took one look at LoveinMalta and turned straight back to reddit. Any good suggestions out there?

- Ubetalte gjeld

- Ikke betalt skatt

- Svart arbeid / uregistrert arbeid

- Trygdesvindel

- Feilopplysninger i søknader

Can we privatise LESA already?

Boy oh boy, I was stuck in traffic this morning in Paola because two LESA officers decided to close the roundabout toward Marsa so they could “control the flow.”It felt less like traffic management and more like a complete mess, to put it politely.

At this point, it feels like we should privatise the entire operation.Put them on commission-based salaries and cut the workforce in half. That would finally stop situations where eight officers show up for a task that needs two. They would actually have an incentive to issue fines to people who break traffic laws.

Combine that with AI cameras and Malta would see far less traffic because people would think twice before blocking an entire road.

Thank you for your attention in regards to my morning rant :)

Lidl or EuroSpin?

Hey guys, I was recently at EuroSpin for the first time and I was positively surprised about their prices, they even have discounted items that are about to expired, I don't see that in stores often.

So to my question, what is the overall cheapest of the two chains? Is there even a cheaper option?

Bus card in digital wallet

Can I get the tallinja card either in Google wallet / Apple wallet? I tried to see if there maybe was an option in the official tallinja app but nothing useful there.

I don't want to carry physical cards anymore as all my cards are linked to my phone's wallet

Anyone know this for sure?

Why did grocery stores choose to enact a 0.25c fee to cold drinks? It is the stupidest thing I have heard off, I mean are they going to start charging us more for cold milk now?

My workaround so far is to remove the drinks I want from the fridge and put it on the shelves. I come back 1h later and pay no cold fee.
