I’m just trying to plug a fan in my wall cuz it’s hot asf except my wall outlet is just a slut who let too many people plug into it in the past and now it’s so loose it won’t hold a small plug in.
He’s 7 years old and just started limping out of nowhere yesterday evening and it appears to be his front left paw because i accidentally brushed it and he freaked out. I looked it up and it is either one of two things; he just got injured from being outside or he has calicavirus because he also had some dried eye gunk that I picked off him the other day. I can’t get him to a vet today because it’s Canada Day and the vet is closed but is there anything I can do until tomorrow? He just started limping yesterday but he’s still eating and drinking water.
Why is it when I have level 1000s on my team, it’s like we hit them with the same force of a napkin from a little kids birthday party but when I go up against level 1000s, I’m getting skull fucked left and right?
I’d rather just wait an extra few minutes than join a game of domination or team deathmatch that’s almost over. Everyone has scorestreaks when im just loading in and get killed by them off the rip, everyone already has their camping spots established and just earlier i joined a game on hardpoint that was almost over and had a nuke dropped on us.
I got my PS5 almost 5 years ago now and it’s starting to show signs of overheating so I looked up a video on how to clean the fan and i got everything, the correct screw driver, canned air, duster,etc…tell me why the screws that keep the fan in place which haven’t been touched once since i unboxed the thing half a decade ago are stripped? At first I thought maybe I just didn’t have the right screwdriver, i did according to Sony, I even grabbed a slightly smaller and slightly bigger just to be safe but nope, the tip keeps spinning around in the screws without locking on and had to give up before i ended up actually stripping them. That was my first and only time trying to unscrew the fan to clean it and I can’t because of shitty quality screws.
Edit: Turns out this is my first experience with the infamous “fuck off” screws after doing some research.
Currently in the car on a 6 hour road trip for a tournament and I 100% left my blades sitting by the sparx machine, i got my skates but zero blades.
For context I (M22) am First Nations Canadian (native american for those who aren’t familiar with the term) and I’m proud of it.
Last year I moved to an area with a less dense indigenous population in order to pursue my career into becoming a journeyman electrician and within a month of being hired the comments started by a man in his late 40s/early 50s which sucks because he was someone I had gotten somewhat close to when i first started. Throughout the 4 months I had worked with him, here is just some of the things he has called or said to me regarding my cultural background:
-Sacagawea (I have my hair in traditional braids)
-Indy (short for Indian)
-“drink a little too hard last night?” (I was permitted to be a couple hours late to work because of an appointment and he assumed that I was just late due to a hangover. He has not once seen me drink a sip of alcohol nor did I mention to him that I drink or not)
-“where’s your big smokers pipe?” (Said during our break when I lit a cigarette and was referring to the large pipes used during ceremonies)
A couple more related to gambling and government handouts were made but it was obvious this man wasn’t educated in the slightest bit of indigenous people. At first I would laugh it off but these comments just kept coming and I eventually told him to stop and each time he said “iM jUSt kidDin aRoUnD”.
I eventually got sick of hearing that every other day and went out and bought those sunglasses with the camera in them and recorded every second I was around him for a week and compiled every comment and racist remark and had a few minutes of footage ready to be shown to HR if he refused to stop saying stuff like that about me.
Come monday and he does his little song and dance and I tell him to stop and that I wouldn’t be asking him again to which he just brushes off so during our next break, i headed over to the management office and show them the footage i had collected and long story short, he didn’t come back after lunch.
He worked there for nearly 30 years and was supporting his whole family off his wage, heavy emphasis on the past tense use in “worked”.
