Is Lex shutting off the kitchen lights a direct response to the flashlight drawing the Rex’s attention earlier?

Forgive me if this has been brought up before. Watching the movie for the 74th time today (RIP Sam), I noticed Lex switching off the lights in the kitchen with the raptors. Is this because she learned from the flashlight and the Rex? Did everyone already not notice this before except me?

Old school diner

Hey all, I'm trying to find anywhere in the central Texas area that has an old fashioned diner. A vague assertion for sure but I mean a diner that has those old fashioned lit up glass desert display cases. Sometimes they're a case on the counter and sometimes they're a stand alone display. I've only seen them in movies and television and I know the design varies but I thought it'd be cool to frequent a diner that has one.

Does anyone know of such a diner in the area?
