Taking my one and only vacation to Montreal for a weeked in early October (4th), and I travel to eat~!!! Please give me any and every restaurant recommendation, I love all food! I'll be very pregnant (34 weeks), so unfortunately can't do raw seafood (my all time favourite food), and I'm allergic to nuts (ruling out most bakeries which is a crying shame) but otherwise will eat just about anything.

Tell me about the unskippable icons (Schwartz is on the list!), and your personal local faves. I want to get a good poutine, and at least one very fancy romantic dinner.

Any local farms/markets to buy peaches?

Looking for a store where I can try out some strollers and car seats. I'm only seeing Baby Shack, which have terrible hours. Any other recommendations?

I'm due in December and this is my first baby. If all goes well (fingers crossed) I plan to exclusively breastfeed. Assuming that works, I think I should probably be ready to pump if the time arises. Most importantly, I want to put pumping supplies on my shower registry to be prepared.

I don't envision myself pumping except in specific circumstances, a) my baby won't latch and I might need to bottle feed exclusively, b) I have excess milk which is sore and needs to be pumped away, c) if I just need some time to myself and pump a stash supply so I can allow someone else to feed the baby and d) when I return to work after 12 months and my baby is still taking breast milk.

There are a million options on the market, but I don't know which one suits my needs. Is anyone in a similar boat and can make a recommendation? Also, any lactation-expert approved bottles that are the most similar to a nipple?

If you chose cloth diapering, how did your laundry cost increase? I wonder what the cost of doing laundry every day might have on my water bill.

Can anyone give their review of ComfyCotton? Do they service Oshawa?

I am absolutely overwhelmed by the ten trillion things I need to buy. I want to host a baby shower to help with some of the cost, but I dont expect everyone I know to buy me everything. Is there a good website for a baby registry that will allow guests to donate to specific gifts without buying in full? Or like, a good website that will allow guests to buy items from many different sources (various online stores)?

Context: I live in Canada.

EDIT: I also need to note that I want buy second hand wherever possible. I want to decide what I need/want to buy and try to buy it second hand for myself BEFORE my baby shower. I also don't plan on doing any shopping until after I learn the gender.

My level 11 players are (unknowingly) about to be inducted to an ice prison. They've traveled to the edge of the world, where an evil entity living as an Adult White Dragon has corrupted an army of humans into ice mermaids. The ice mermaids act as prison guards, and the prisoners do manual labour to build a giant ice wall. The ice wall is causing environmental catastrophe, which is what the party is investigating. The neighboring King has also been imprisoned here, and they've been tasked to find him. The party is travelling with a pirate crew, its mythic captain, and they unfortunately lost their ship in the last encounter, so they dont have a reliable means of escape.

So!!! That's all background. When they are taken into the prison, they will be forced into chains, and it only makes sense that the ice mermaids will take all their items, armour and weapons. In a normal prison, this might occur by the guards forcing the party into rag clothes and tossing them in a cell. The only problem with that here, the prison is built on water. They night have some rags they've kept from other deceased prisoners. The ice mermaids sleep in the water rooted to ice walls, they hang their own weapons underwater attached to an ice wall, everything is made of ice.

There IS a section beneath the ice prison where the white dragon has his lair. I think it makes sense that the party is forced to toss their items into that lair, by throwing them into an ice chute. This serves double duty because if all goes well, I'd like them to battle the dragon in his lair as a final boss fight.

I KNOW my players will not want to do this, obviously. I kind of doubt they will do it willingly, I'm afraid they will break into a fight (thereby fight the entire horde of guards and likely lose), try jumping through the chute (thereby face the dragon alone and die), etc.

Has anyone successfully done something like this to their players? For what shenanigans should I plan?

Can anyone recommend some big empty areas that are good for driving practice?

I'd love some tips for chilly nights! We are camping this weekend at Mikisew, and the weather currently stats that it will be 18 - 25 during the day 7 - 10 at night.

We sleep on air mattresses, on top of a sheet, inside a sleeping bag, with an extra blanket on top. I plan to bring some thermals to go underneath some warm pj's, plus a toque and warm socks. Any other tips?

We once tried camping on a rainy weekend when it was about 12 - 15 during the day and 5 or so degress at night, and left after the first night because the wet and cold weather just wasn't any fun. We're better prepared now, but I still want to go into this with my eyes wide open!

Has anyone (successfully) created a stockpile that can only be used when a dwarf is in a strange mood? My main problem right now for happiness are my industrious, creative dorfs getting all in a today when something isn't available for their strange mood. I thought it would be good to have a forbidden stockpile that stays stocked with a bunch of basics (gems, stone, wood, cloth, leather, metal, blocks, etc) but can't be used for anything until a dorf is in a strange mood. I just don't know how to make this work!
