I use Z.AI for creative writing and stuff and suddenly all my chats have been set to "choose ai model" and it's not letting me choose one, hence making them all unusable.

Same as title. Any ways to fix this?

Is taking partial drop worth it for english honors?

PCMC in CBSE screwed me over, had to give NIOS ODE, and drop is not an option. I am strong in English [99.56 percentile in cuet] but didn't know about the entire WBCAP thing and Jadavpur university's english hons entrance exam and hence missed both.

My current last option is to get into an applied english honors course in brainware university.
However, since applied english itself is not a degree i've heard much about, i was thinking about taking a sort of partial drop and trying for english hons in jadavpur and other reputed universities next year.

Is this a sensible plan? Do i have any other options? Is an Applied English Hons. degree even useful?

I really need someone to guide me at the moment. My family is far from please with me and my father is already threatening to marry me off. I don't come from a financially stable family and my family has only agreed to pay for the necessary admission fees and i'll be on my own after that.

I need help, please.

few queries about the app.

I mainly use the ai for creative writing and stuff, and i find it annoying how after each answer is finished being written, the app just sets me to the end of it, making me have to scroll to get back to the top. On this note, glm 5.1 has been acting wacky for the past few days with random chinese characters and symbols and at times a whole ass prompt just being a random symbol meltdown with red highlighted text.

Is AI/ML a better course than BA English Hons/Psychology Hons?

same as title. This year was an academic disaster for me. Stuff happened and I had to resort to NIOS ODE.

NIOS hasn't released my marksheet yet and the college I'm targeting for Psychology would close admissions in late august. my friend is pursuing a Ai/ML degree with a 7 LAKH EDUCATION LOAN at EIILM Kolkata, and has told me that he can get me provisionally admitted. He says that it would provide a way better earning opportunity than an English or Psychology degree.

I am a PCMC student and believe psychology is my calling. however I am not at a financial position to choose passion over earning opportunities.

does anyone know when th results for June 16-30 exams will be out?

Same as title. the ODE results for 1-15 june were released on July 17. I read on the website that the exams taken in a month have their results released in the last week of the next month. However, I've recently seen people saying 16-30 june exam results would be released in mid August which is worrying because I'm trying to use ODE as a way to avoid taking a drop. I'm so scared.

What is better long term- BA English or BA psychology?

I love both subjects dearly, and excel in them. I wanted to be a clinical psychologist, but have been reconsidering after recent research which revealed that it's not really a high paying market, atleast for the masses.

I come from a poor family, and money takes a higher priority over passion for me.

Which field would help me earn the net higher income?

My qualifications, if relevant are that i got 99.5 percentile in English in CUET. I'm mentioning this only because it won't let me post without that word.

Don't know what to do with my life

I [18F] am from a middle class family. I wished to pursue psychology hons. I had PCMC + English and psych in school.

However, I got essential repeat in boards. I applied for reevaluation after checking my copies as I could see that I wasn’t granted proper step marks which would’ve easily let me pass.

On the other hand, after some thorough research, I decided to give NIOS ODE as a failsafe for my results. Since I was planning for BA anyways, i changed my subjects to Home science, painting and DEO. I TOC-ed english and psychology.

I had signed up for CUET with Psychology, English, Maths and Computer Science, because back then I had confidence in my capabilities. However, after recent events I lost said confidence and decided to focus on colleges who only had psychology and English in their subject mapping. As expected, I got 214.6 [99.6 percentile] in English, 140.4 [55 percentile] in psychology, 33.6 [33 percentile] in maths and 49.9 [77.8 percentile] in computer science.

On the other hand, I couldn’t pass the reevaluations. It came as a serious shock to me. I haven’t mustered up the courage to let my family know yet. One of my relatives informed me that the centralized CUET counselling has started; which google says is false and that each college has their own cuet counselling.

I'm very scared at the moment. I cannot afford a drop year- my family will not allow it; My father is a staunch believer in physical discipline if you get what i mean. I have no idea how any of this works- will colleges even let me apply without a passed class 12 result?  I don't know what to do anymore. I need someone to talk to, I need someone who could at least tell me that everything’s not over yet. I'm so overwhelmed. I don’t even know whether to continue with psychology hons or switch over to English hons.

Someone, talk to me, please.

What's wrong with some people man

What the images say. This man beat his kid halfway to death and then left the child to drown in a canal.
