I wish I tried this sooner…

Before leaving for work this morning I grabbed a handful of wedges (got a variety pack last order as a freebie) and wanted to see if I could alleviate the small hotspot myself and a few others mention when running the T1C 1 inch wedges. Tossed the second small on there to start as I have multiple to burn and already I can tell that this has made a huge difference for me! I’ve been on and off the mowers this morning and am starting to wrench on em (so lots of squatting, laying on the creeper, and then hopping back up on the mower) with notable changes to the comfort!

That’s all! Love you, bye

I guess I found a new hobby 😂

Well… At nearly 34, I am finding myself back on something with pedals! At the end of last year, my daughter made a big jump and started riding her bicycle without training wheels. Shortly after that I had found a nice Fit Bike Co (thinking I would enjoy re-living my late adolescent and early teens) but at 6 feet tall, a 20.5 inch bike was simply not cutting it so I sold the thing and started riding the longboard for our evening cruise lol.

Jump forward to two weeks ago I upgraded my daughters bike from the Walmart starter bike to a second hand REI Co-Op 16 inch bike. She started asking for me to ride my bike not fully realizing I had sold the thing (she is now 4 years old) and instantly I felt a heavy guilt. Last week I jumped on marketplace and scored a “Core” brand fixie for $80 and have been doing about 2 miles every evening with my daughter!

Figured you all might enjoy some warm fuzzies after a long Monday!

Cheers!!!

Bonus: Is anyone familiar with a bike “Core” with a logo of a C and dot on the front? I can’t tell if its a State Bicycle Co Core-Line maybe? Thank you all!

Daytime Perspective on my Morning Commute

Figured you all might enjoy a daytime perspective of my morning ride from the other day. Today I had to cruise over to Napa and decided to take the wash back to work again!

Looking for some feedback and take a little in return on one pain-point / flaw I have found with the Tier 1 Concealed APX that I never did have with the Axis Elite. As I’m explaining my complaint, we see it take form in real time lol

Cheers!

What’s up r/CCW and Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend and a great start to the week!

I’ll skip to the meat and potatoes of the meal. I got in the new Hunter Constantine Carry Belt and I’m relatively happy with the purchase.

I’ve been running the T1C x HC belt for the last 3 years or so with really only one complaint. It doesn’t hold quiet enough tension/slips as I’m going about my work day (groundskeeper & mechanic). After repeatedly going down to the floor and getting back up, in and out of the gator and tractors, the excessive bending over and what not, my belt would need minor adjustments once or twice throughout the day. So I opted to order a small HC Belt assuming it would help this issue. It certainly did! I had no issues today at work however the belt is brand new and this could also play a factor as to why it’s not slipping. Possibly the old buckle had lost its abrasiveness over time, thus causing for a little slip. Or maybe it was the belt being a bit too large for my needs. Who knows.

The one thing I did note and why I’m making the post. The T1C x HC is slightly different in design. It feels slightly thicker or more robust, I can’t put my finger on it. The stitching also looks a little different between the two, I’d maybe prefer the original. Lastly, and the elephant in the room lol. The T1C has an extra belt loop that the HC does not and I’m sorta bummed at the loss.

I hope this additional information helps others make the best informed decision when investing financially into their gear!

Cheers!

What’s up r/CCW and Happy Friday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend and plans for an even better weekend!

I wanted to take a moment to do a little write up on my experience with different belts over the past 10 years as I recently purchased a x11 buckle for my Kore x T1C belt as well as a second Hunter Constantine belt and I have a feeling I won’t be buying another belt for a LONG time.

Going back 10ish years ago, young me walked into the big Bass Pro Shop up in Mesa and grabbed myself the most rugged 5.11 belt my britches could handle. Cora buckle, carabiner loop, thing barely fit in the belt loops of most of my pants, but it held up my CZ75B and my Ruger SR1911 Commander like a champ! What I found out over time was, I am not a hole-hoop and thus, such a ridged belt was hard on me in many ways.

So I hop belts a little and pull the trigger on a Grip6 belt. Holy smokes! I can breath again! I can tie my shoes, sit in a car, heck, I can hold a fart in without having sever hip/muffin top pain from the dang belt digging into my sides. The downside was how incredibly floppy my whole rig had become unless I crank that belt down tighter than a dads ratchet strap prior to the family vacation.

So again, I am hopping around belts…. BOOM! TRee Arms 1.5 inch cobra clip that’s just stiff enough but not too nasty. Honestly, this belt is legit, aside from the cobra clip! I can not stand how hard it is to get this belt on and off pants with smaller belt loops. That and it was an XS and I was under the impression that it was a S, so I hung it up and pulled the trigger on the big boy…..

Kore x T1C 1.5 belt This was back the you weren’t allowed to say Kore on the sub… I mean I took a leap of faith lol. I hated it…. The belt clip was so stinking wide and I had to shift the stupid belt so far to the left, I felt like I had to play hudini to take a crap… lord help me if I was in a hurry… So I finally came to my senses and did the only reasonable thing… I purchased the HC x T1C belt!

The Hunter Constantine belt is still my go-to belt for everything pair of pants or shorts I own aside from one specific pair of jorts that just like to sag a little in the back due to some weight loss. I love this belt so much in fact, I purchased a second one that should be coming next week. I didn’t want to have to pull my belt off my work shorts and put it on my clean shorts after work….

Well, in the meantime I went and purchased the X11 buckle for my Kore belt as I realized that was a thing and I’m just an idiot lol. Got it in yesterday and ran that belt today while I was at work…. Game changer! I now think I will be running the Kore x T1C belt during the week 4am-noon and the HC belt any other time of the day.

Bonus points for the Phlster Enigma that got me through being a banker for 2 years! M-F Tucked button up shirt with a tie regarding during winter season. Rocked everything from a P320 AXG Pro to a P238 and a ton of different platforms in-between. I couldn’t see myself going without a Phlster, just so I have an option for tucking in!

Hope this nonsense helps someone out there save a few bucks and let me know if anyone wants a 5.11 belt or a Trex Arms belt lmao!

Cheers!

Just got done listing to the live episode of the recent concealed carry podcast episode with Riley Bowman and Matt Little. Very interesting conversation with some really good take away that some of you might enjoy listening too!

What’s some harmful phrases you hear tossed around at the gun shop, range, or just out and about?
