Got this old Remington Barlow to go with the Case Russlock, both in yellow delrin. I always thought it would be awesome if case did a yellow delrin Barlow in CS or now CS. Sincerely there is none I thought I’d never have something to fill that spot until now! It’s really got some great action too!
Got these beauties out today! This stockman is not gonna be coming out my pocket any time soon! 1979 47 case stockman in smooth green, 65-69’ Case Barlow in red sawcut bone, and Large Inkose LH with a hollow ground tanto S45 blade and tan micarta inlays.
Love these guys and haven’t had the chance to slow down a bit and take some pictures. The 47 is amazing, it’s my birth year too! Great snap, little rub, but no signs of wear and tear. The Frank Buster is a great idea that I can honestly say was perfected! Great action, F&F, and the covers are sick! I am wanting to put both of these in my rotation, but a little shy to do it. Especially the white that’s showing, it would get some nice bone patina in my line of work! Happy hump day.
Kabar made some real amazing stuff in their day! Fits in the back pocket perfectly! My good friend set me up with her and it’s been a pocket hog ever since!

I got these two bad boys recently and I’m loving them both tremendously! I really love the stockman bc I fell in love with these covers ever since my man Rob put me hip to them a while back. Found both of these on the PeeBay but I got a great deal on my offer for the stock, and I beat out the initial bidder for the 65-69 Barlow! These went immediately into the pocket! Thanks Shawn for the great deal on the camera too! I’m going to be putting more pics up using only dslr from here on!
Pre 82” Frank Buster One Arm Gunstock Jack. It’s in beautiful bone and carbon steel! These older ones were amazing, the action is phenomenal, and it’s put together very well! This is an Insta-Fav!
Man, I love me some Spyderco LW frn scales! They are so grippy and really can take a serious beating! This lil temp in k390 has really impressed me too, it’s so light but yet a hefty knife, and it holds an edge for ages! My old Manix LW was through a besting and dropped a million times, but after a good cleaning, the scales looked like they’re on a light user. Crazy thing though, I love Spyderco’s frn, but the same type of stuff that BM uses, is trash imo. What’s everyone’s opinion on the LW?
I was about to write GEC off for good after their sloppy work lately. I ended up picking one of these guys up and it totally made good on the shit show they been giving! Even the guard locks up like a bank vault!! No wobble fully onen or anything. Love the bolsters, coulda been a better choice on the shield, but it’s cool still. Even the jigging looks great. Good job(finally) Grest Eastern Cutlery! You kept me as a customer as long as you keep this up.
Love these guys a lot! The Remington Barlow I got from a good friend at the beginning of my journey with traditional knives, I liked it a lot, but I’ve recently fell deeply in love with it! I may have found the right size Barlow for me! The IXL was a great recommendation from an awesome friend on here as well, he knew it was my style and has one himself so he didn’t want me to miss out! It’s got the best action too! Thanks guys! Oh, and the Remington has a perfect secondary too, literally this knife has been taken care of for decades!
