Dentist says she can't see anything wrong...
Found out the hard way that the dentist office I go to is just going to run you for your money. I just graduated, first time ever really doing dentist paperwork / insurance and all that on my own. Didn't know what was really going on, just agreed to it because I trusted them. Previous dentist that I went to as a kid gave me severe trauma and the new ones made me feel safe and actually made sure I didn't feel pain when they drilled into my teeth. However, now I have multiple teeth that they worked on and I still have severe pain just from drinking water! Yay
Anyway, my temporary crown was taken off to put on my permanent. Assistant blew air / water at the teeth and I was in so much pain I almost physically got out of the chair. They said yeah ok, put my temp back on, and now I wait till the 16th of this month to see the traveling root canal guy to see if it's something he can figure out. The dentist said they couldn't see anything in the x-rays or understand why I'm in pain 🙃 they wouldn't prescribe antibiotics either.
Temp crown fell off last night and I had to go to a 24/7 cvs to get fixodent denture adhesive to put it back on. I just took it back off since it was coming off anyway, to clean and do a salt water and oracare rinse.
Anyone know what's going? Both of my back molars are pictured. Very back one had a root canal. The one in front / bottom one in pic, is the one that has the pain. There is a little bit of cement still on it I think? And there is some pink because of the fixodent still. Tooth is sensitive to the touch.
