I literally have the worst luck ever.
Over the course of June, I had been collecting Nook Miles Tickets so I could go villager hunting whenever my next islander moved. After 20+ days, I finally had a resident tell me they wanted to move, Poncho, and by then, I had accumulated 47 Nook Miles Tickets.
The next day, before I began my hunt, I decided to purchase an additional three tickets for a grand total of 50. There were seven specific villagers who I was looking for (whom I plan to replace my current residents with, excluding Bob, Cherry, and Marina), and while I knew there was a possibility of me not finding any of them, I still felt pretty confident with 50 tickets at my disposal, and if luck was on my side, then I might've been able to find one of the seven I was looking for and STILL have a few tickets left over to use for my next hunt.
Well, needless to say, I REALLY wish I didn't get my hopes up, because I ended up blowing all 50 tickets I had and didn't find ANY of the villagers I was looking for. In fact, I ended up finding Tank, Eloise, and Marcie twice in one hunt, so all those extra three tickets got me were a bunch of duplicates. I was pretty distraught, but for the next couple of days, I continued my hunt, because I really didn't want to let this opportunity go to waste after waiting nearly a whole month for it. But unfortunately, my luck didn't get any better, cause I must have purchased thirty something more tickets after my initial hunt, and still couldn't find who I was looking for.
The craziest thing is that this chart might not even be fully accurate. I kind of lost track of the villagers I had encountered cause of burnout, and I'm certain there's at least a few villagers I forgot to list. I know none of them were Maple, Marshal, Petri, Raymond, Sasha, Shino, or Whitney though, otherwise, I wouldn't have made this post. I should probably also clarify that I never actually encountered Goose on a Mystery Tour, but he did show up to my campsite on the day of my initial hunt, so I did have the opportunity to move him in all the same.
It's now been three days since Poncho moved out, and I figure his lot must have been purchased by now. I'm sure some of you think I'm crazy for passing up on fan favorites like Rosie, Sterling, Lucky, Pashmina, Sherb, Ketchup, etc. But I know who my people are, and I'd rather gamble away every last Nook Miles Ticket in my inventory for them rather than settle for villagers on my shortlist who I'll eventually just let move out anyway.
