Could "It's all in the game" only work in America?
I've been wondering for some time. How do they fail to find out that the two women are mother and daughter? Is this only possible due to America's lack of population registers? In German crime shows, the police is always making dossiers of victims and often also suspects, including their backgrounds, past occupation, education, and close relatives. (I don't know how realistic both situations are, but that's what I see.)
