Here’s a little more about my editing process and what you can expect:
I look at every manuscript from both a reader's and an editor's perspective.
I'll make note of everything that caught my attention, from the moments I loved to the areas that could be developed further. If a scene falls flat or a character's motivation feels weak, I'll explain my reasoning and suggest different approaches and solutions.
I'll keep track of details that are easy to miss, like continuity errors and other inconsistencies. Awkward phrasing, repetitive language, and any minor grammar or punctuation issues will also be marked throughout the manuscript.
