Turbor hammer drill for super cheap on Amazon $67.32

I tend to be pretty risky when it comes to buying tools on Amazon because I've been doing it for about 10 years and never had a bad experience other than when I bought no name brands that I knew I shouldn't have been buying in the first place. I always look in the used section of the power tools if they offer it because most likely it's not used it's sold out of a kit and a lot of resellers are still trying to recoup all the shit they bought when flexes contract was up with Lowe's . This was in the used section. It came brand new with tags on it with the belt clip, sticker, hammer drill handle, all the stuff that comes in the retail packaging just not the retail packaging box. It is the Gen 1 obviously the Gen 2 pretty much just came out and no one's going to sell it this cheap. Fun fact this Gen 1 turbo hammer drill made more torque than the Milwaukee m18 hole hawg. Which is about four times its size and it's a right angle drill. The video is on Drew does tools YouTube channel if you don't believe me.

Close out special on Hercules 20V 2ah batteries

I went in to get the free gift with any purchase picked out the magnetic tool holder as my gift and was looking for something to buy so I could get the gift and noticed this closeout special. I'm not sure if it applies to every store. But I go to two different stores between Ohio and Northern Kentucky and every sale or clearance item is usually the same between stores for the most part so if you need some extra smaller amp batteries this would definitely be a good time.

M12 Gen 2 stubby overheating super easy

Brand new tool . I go to use it for the first time taking the front crossmember off of a Ford Transit to get to the radiator and pull it out and this thing overheated like five different times. I've seen videos of people talking about this issue online and my gen one stubby never did this. I am a mobile mechanic and it was sitting in my car in the heat all day so I'm sure that didn't help it at all but have any of you guys found luck with different batteries or any other work around for this I really didn't even get to use the tool because of this. I was using the 5 AH high output battery. You can still see the stickers are brand new on the tool it's never been used. I don't think I got a bad unit either just because there's videos of this issue all over the internet. Torque Test channel mentioned it in his videos as well. I've seen some people swapping in batteries once the tool starts to do the overheating shut off so I guess that might be my only work around. Also the crossmember bolts were not super high torque for the stubby either the first one came off like there wasn't even a bolt there. Not sure if the bolt size but they were 10 MM hex bolts .so probably m6 bolt size..

2020 Ford Transit 350 3.5 non turbo lower radiator hose not in stock anywhere near me and company the van back on the road.

The Amazon company I work for is low on bands and needs as many possible should I reinstall this lower radiator hose or advise them to wait to me honestly it doesn't look that bad I do not believe it's going to leak if it was before the clamp or anywhere in the hose where it's not sitting on the radiator I definitely wouldn't do it but to mean this doesn't look too sketchy to reinstall

Need help finding complete fuse box assembly

You'll have to scroll through the five pictures that I posted to see what I'm talking about but Ford doesn't sell that little block that bolts into the underside of the fuse box with all the wiring I need to buy the harness, and the complete fuse box with those two terminal blocks that bolt into the underside of the fuse box. OEM preferred. If you look at the eBay listing with the fuse box that I showed the two terminal blocks are not included on that box and I can't find that complete assembly for sale anywhere

You'll save an extra 3% if you use a cash app card and select the offer

It's not much fellas but I've saved $26 that I would have been leaving on the table had I not went in the app and clicked on the 3% saving offer. All you do is click on that in the app and then pay with your cash app card it automatically subtracts the money you would spend on your purchase so say whatever you we're buying was $50 when you use your cash app card it's only going to take $48.50 off of your card. I know that's not much but on top of harbor freights savings, ITC deals, large purchases, and other open box or clearance deals getting an extra 3% off just for clicking a button in the app is always pretty cool. Also they usually reset the offers on Fridays and they'll have Amazon, lowe's, home depot, harbor freight, Verizon wireless, walmart, etc on there so if you make purchases to any of those retailers I would do it with your cash app card and save an extra 3%. Before I make a purchase to any other retailers listed I always check that app especially since I do my grocery shopping at Kroger's and I get my internet from spectrum. I'm just trying to help y'all save a little bit more money sorry it's not a better deal

I found this on Slickdeals. Lowe's 4 AH power pack and 2 AH 20v max 2 pack for $54.72 was $219 clearance at certain stores.

There's like 12 lowes In my area and the one closest to my house was the only one with this clearance deal. If you go on the Lowe's app look at the price for each local store you'll be able to see which one have them on clearance and also have them in stock. This is a good deal even for the 4 AH power pack

For anybody local to the Cincinnati area this is at the Lowe's on Harrison Ave. I'm only buying one there should be three left if you come today

Dorman brand terminal pin connectors made for Ford won't fit in terminal block

2021 transit 250 rwd

Dorman part number - 85377

I bought some dorman Brand connectors that are made specifically for boards and the bigger wire for the 12 gauge wire work just fine but the smaller 16 gauge connectors won't fit in the block

What can I do to make this work when I try to crimp any of these connectors they just flatten and then still won't fit into the terminal block. This kind of connector is not meant to crimp any smaller because the two blades of the connector have to opposing against each other for the fuse box pin to make a connection. The fuse box has a spade type pin that has to go into these connectors so I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help

Need help identifying this part

Vehicle is a 2021 Ford Transit 250 RWD

It's the part that the fuse box actually sits on there's two of them it's a common issue and I believe there's also a TSB out for these Ford transits and other Ford vehicles . If you can see where the part has melted at the bottom That's the issue I'm talking about. When I type in 60 pin wire harness connector or Google search it GM parts come up but I can't find any for a 2021 ford Transit. Or if anyone has a OEM part link/number that would be great. Thanks

Who has the best small/compact electric ratchet

I work on Amazon vans for a living And actually work for the company that dispatches them as an hourly employee. I know you guys have seen Amazon vans that have missing panels and that's commonly what I'm fixing, because Amazon requires inspections to be done on those vans and 70% of our fleet has to be up to their standards. Those panels are held on by plastic clips and tons of t20 torx screws. They all can be broken free just by an electric ratchet which is great. The one I'm currently using is the m12 brushed 2457-20. I bought it for 20 bucks off a roommate and it's been great but it's got that annoying paddle switch and I'm looking to get whatever is the absolute easiest to carry all day long and lightest . Just looking for the best ergonomics basically. I attached some electric ratchets and their prices what would y'all go with? The same way somebody who's driving screws all day has an impact driver / drill clipped onto their belt is the same way I'm using an electric ratchet all day. I have batteries for several brands as well so I'm open to all recommendations from all brands. Highest torque is not a factor here I have the m12 stubby if I need it.

New herclues 20v 2AH oil resistant battery just realesed

I believe this is a good sign that the new 12V ratchets are going to be coming out soon. They are expected to release this summer and the 20V compact and mid torque impact wrenches are supposed to release in the fall. This battery is also the same price as the regular 20V 2AH battery which is pretty cool because literally every other brand charges more for their oil resistant batteries.

u/Miserable-Hunt-5241 — 1 month ago

Do y'all recommend flexes 1/2 compact impact wrench.

I love flexes bigger stuff but the M12 stubby highly outperforms the flex compact. The flex compact is on sale right now so I was wondering for the people in here who own both M12 and flex 24 volt what would you guys recommend I have the Gen 1 stubby and it's way underpowered

u/Miserable-Hunt-5241 — 2 months ago

Does the gen 2 M12 stubby completely replace the mid torque for mechanics?

I have the gen 1 stubby and I find it lacking in power. I know this is a Milwaukee sub but I own several other battery ecosystems including DeWalt, flex, Hercules, and Bauer. I was wondering if buying a cheaper mid torque and keeping my M12 stubby gen 1 for what it can handle until I can get the gen 2 . Gen 2 stubby is $229 I can get a flex mid torque for $90 bucks on eBay or Amazon. Or the DCF 921 for $110 bucks on Amazon which was the strongest compact impact wrench until the Gen 2 stubby. Do most of y'all who owned the Gen 2 stubby find yourself only needing the stubby or a high torque ? Or does the mid torque still have its place in this section?

u/Miserable-Hunt-5241 — 2 months ago

With the coupon everything was 40 bucks altogether

So I typically only stick with Milwaukee for 12 volt and flex 24 volt for my bigger tools but I'm going to trust in harbor freight because they haven't let me down yet and I'm going to wait on the new ratchets and impacts to come out so I went ahead and bought a battery with the 15% off coupon.

What's your guys experience with herclues 12v mini cut off tool?

Also I used the coupon yesterday and then used it again today, so I don't know if that will work for everybody. But it does just say one item per day per person so if you didn't manage to buy anything with the coupon today and you have time tomorrow you should go up there if you're in need of something.

I finally did it . I finally got one

So I live within close driving range to five different harbor freights with one only being 5 miles away . I've consistently been checking all of these locations for this damn magnetic mat. I work on Amazon vans for a DSP that actually dispatches drivers. It's mainly body work to keep the branded vans looking nice. Well at least once a week the tire company we are contracted by Amazon to use (Goodyear) can't get our tires off because of the rust and the lug nuts seizing. So I often have to go out there and take off the tire for the technician which I always think is hilarious because I'm literally just a dude with tools and no certifications. The company I work for will pretty much buy whatever tools I need so I try not to take advantage of that kindness. most mechanics have to buy all their own tools , so I'm happy with anything I don't have to buy. Kentucky has about 15 of these right now I only bought one because that's really that's all you should need.. sorry for the yapping y'all I'm just happy The one day I find these in stock I get to buy them on the company card .

Not a great deal but I'm happy with it

Apparently some guy bought a 12 volt tool didn't even notice he was buying 20 volt batteries took them out the box tried to get them to work in the tool and then realized so he brought back two 2 ah brand new batteries and now I get both of them for 9 bucks cheaper than new if they showed any kind of wear I wouldn't have did it but they're literally brand new

Also grabbed the charger that's on clearance for 30 bucks

u/Miserable-Hunt-5241 — 2 months ago

Small tool haul under 50 bucks in the hat was free icon 800 lumen light is 29.99 right now with the ITC deal and the Bauer 16-in bag is 7 bucks Good value
