Not available yesterday (presumably because of the DMCA take-down over the Novatek software); available to order again today.

TLDR: It took me way too many hours, over multiple days, but I got there in the end.

**Standalone + Battery**

Human alerts were unusable because the camera faces a street - a car would trigger the PIR and wake the camera, then the camera would pick up people walking past about 50 feet away. I tried limiting the PIR sensitivity and motion detection zone, but I never found a setup that wouldn't miss people walking up to my door but ignore people on the street.

I then tried "all motion" detection using a detection zone to reduce false alerts. I found the camera is ridiculously over-sensitive to movement - Eufy should tune the default behavior better and give us options to control sensitivity (size, speed, duration) to stop phantom alerts from plants, birds, moths, etc.

**Standalone + AC Power**

Adding AC power and enabling pre-roll changed the behavior - no matter what I tried, I got motion alerts every few minutes all night from moths flying through the detection zone. This configuration was basically unusable.

**Paired with HomeBase**

Once I paired the E340 with a HomeBase 3 and switched back to human detection only, retaining the limited detection zone, the behavior was hugely better. It's basically doing exactly what I want it to now.

When I try to log in to Yelp using the Edge browser in Windows 11, it says it needs to send me an email link to confirm my identity. I get the link, click on it, and see "Your link has expired", which it obviously hasn't because it's only 3 seconds old.
