97 beast is for sure nice. But... the hairless body doesn't speak to me as a mainly comic version collector. Uncanny Beast... boy howdy what he goes for on the open market.

Last week, Amazon had a random sale for Cat Beast for $17. So i reached out to a fodder selling friend and got a head and hands for fairly cheap. All in, about $30, all said and done.

Very pleased with it. The hands don't quite match the body blue, and really just for acrobatic poses- but the head is fine for color mesh.

Overall, couldn't be happier for a budget alternative.

Cat Beast head was just.... never an option for me.

Hey all. I never really much liked the release concepts of Kraven the Hunter. They were never really...primal? enough for me. I had gotten a free loose wrestling figure with an order, don't even know who he is. Got a kilt from a fellow custom shop from a fodder lot. A warcraft kilt of some sort, along with the mantle and shoulder. The rest started coming together from fodder bin pulls.

I think it represents a more visceral, origin-centric concept. What that abortion of a movie should have leaned toward, if they wanted to do gritty so bad, in my opinion.

Hey all. We felt we nailed Zilius, but the skin tone wasn't quite accurate. So we gave him an update. Here he is.

For anyone who missed it the first time around-

His face and hands are rubberized plastic- or "TPU". Hands grip solid as well, without dangers to breakage. Comes with the spiked mace construct, and a red battery. Fairly articulated and poseable at the shoulders and hips by ball joint.

He was made alongside Galius Zed, who features the same PLUS move-able eyes, to position as you'd like.

Hey all. Checking in with Our Senti "Guardian Mutant Slayer".

Myself, and u/GrimalkinLegionnaire. We like making bigger action figures that never really got scale love, or were once sold at a small fortune, not to be sold again, and now sell for larger fortunes. We started by taking our crack at a few Power Ranger villains to match DX zords. I decided I wanted a 28 inch Sentinel, and not fork over a mortgage payment for one. I decided that maybe others too, want the same thing.

So, we got to work. This is more or less the prototype for our own proof of concept. We wanted something that encompassed elements from most iterations of the "villain". It will fit ok in an X-men 97 display. It will work with Marvel legends figures. It can be shoved in with Gamerverse displays.

As you see it, in 12 inch form, it will be offered on Etsy in a few days, under that header. Within 2 weeks, we aim to offer it at a massive 28 inches high, or around 5ish stories tall in 1/12 scale.

Hey all. Checking in with Lord Zedd. About 90% complete. Myself and u/GrimalkinLegionnaire have been working on him the last week or so. Just getting his life support hoses next. They will NOT be lazily draped over him like yesteryear. Oh no. These are going to go in and out of his muscle mass. Body horror. (Dont give me that look. The guy is already walking around with no skin).

We also took some liberties with his armor. Whoever originally designed him was getting away with their poorly disguised fetish. We gave him some real shoulders (dunno what was going on with the poor bastard who originally wore the costume, but he had like... negative shoulders). We also integrated his banana hammock into something more.... practical? Can't have Lord Zedd running around in a pair of dadundaduns. Not on my watch.

Lord Zedd features:

Rubberized, but stiff joints to prevent wear, snapping, and gravity woes.

Two sets of hands/fists

Z Staff (also rubberized and flexible, to prevent breakage)

12.5 inch tall (to pair with the dozens of Megazords through the years)

He will also come with lightning effects for the staff.

Hey all.

Checking in with Pterodactyl. This is fully 3D printed. The design born from Gus Santome's vanilla megazord model.

So for 35 years, I've absolutely hated the pterodactyl design. Looks like something that fell out of an Atari 2600. Pigeon wings, no legs. Zero logistical practicality to speak of.

We decided to give it some.

The wing system is an articulated foldout. Both are attached to a "spine" made of rubberized plastic that stress fits into the head trench on the back of the zord. (The original pigeon wings remain unmolested, just folded in- this is an accessory addon, it doesn't change the structure of the main body)

The idea here is the wings are folded down in dino mode. The wing system detaches whole, and then will be mountable on the back of the mastodon for Megazord and Megadragonzord warrior mode. They will fold out to a maximum span to give the Megazord a full sized wingspan shown in the last pic.

The wing joints and moving parts are all tensioned fit with rubberized plastic, or hard shore TPU. Designed to last, reduce wear friction, but hold pose indefinitely, without being susceptible to gravity.

The legs and claws are addons as well. They clip to the bottom "tail" like the old ones. Except now they are reverseable. The guns are still there- they are just now the back stablizing toe.

The pterodactyl body will still attach to the Tyrannosaur the normal way.

The goal here is to get measurements for all mainstream megazord pretodactyl head trenches, and offer the addon separately, retrofit to spec.

This is directly targeted at the absolute DROVES of megazord offerings in the 9-13" range. 1/10-1/8 scale. Like, compatible for display with at least a dozen variations over the years.

They failed Goldar.

Goldar never made it past 8". (get your mind out of the gutter. This is a family place). 3+ decades of Goldar, and not even the Japanese gave him a proper scale to face off with their legions of Zords that get released every few years.

Goldar features----

FIRST EVER- Articulated wings. FLY, YOU FOOL!

FIRST EVER- Articulated, pose-able armored tail. Yep, he can fly, AND he's fly.

FIRST EVER- Deluxe Scale size comparable to most official Zord offerings.

A scaled version of the Griffocalibur Sword.

A mostly articulated body featuring TPU hard shore joints. They are designed to not wear nearly as fast as traditional plastic ball joints. They also have give and resistance to snapping.

Rubberized fingers for good weapon grip without danger to snapping hands.

Pose-able thigh guards

ZERO paint. He's manufactured as you see him. no paint to chip and peel. Ever.

rubberized neck hair, tail hair, toes, and chest braids.

It's meant to LAST. We've had some of these figures and toys for decades. They DONT hold up. Goldar Does.

Make My Monster Grow! (Power Rangers, early seasons)

That's what we're calling this series of monsters u/grimalkinlegionnaire and I are producing. Why? Because they never got anything beyond puny 7" figures. 35 years, FFS. WHAT ABOUT THE GIANT ZORD TOYS with no one to fight!

We begin with Goldar.

Goldar needed to be, well... GOLD. Let's get some gaudy ass gold up in here! Let's throw a bunch of gems on him and regal him up some.

His wings!! Goldar shouldn't have stationary wings. They should spread! Fly, you fool!

He stands 12.6 inches large. Has: articulated wings. A broadsword. An articulated armored tail in progress. A specialized thermoplastic rubber for the joints. Rigid, but slight flex. Durable.

He's gonna be first to market. We hopefully will finally have him on Etsy by Monday. (Had some kinks to iron). Look for "Golden Power Warrior" on Etsy by Monday.

Hey all. Just wanted to check in with a small project my buddy u/GrimalkinLegionnaire have been working on alongside our first gen Zord series.

We've been working on fully compatible MegaDragonzord. That's just about ready to unveil. Titanus is in planning and concept stages. hes gonna be... wildly different, lets just say. We've diverged a bit from original design and canon. I mean. Why not. It's been like 35 years. Lets shake things up a bit. We have the means. We have the... Power.

Goldar was paramount because of a few reasons. One is there has NEVER been a proper sized offering to pair with deluxe (10-13 inch) Zords. 3 and a half decades and not one. (and don't hit me with that 2017 abomination. That is not My Goldar.) Or any prominent villain of any kind in that scale? So. That was the first reason.

The second is with any iteration- on screen or toy line- his wings have never been articulated. An absolute travesty. Criminal, even. Poor bastard has giant flying monkey wings and cant even move the damned things!

Not today, Goldar. Not today. Spread those wings. Be free.

Lastly, we needed something to face the zords off with for sick ass battle scenes to shoot. Goldar was the first natural choice.

Gonna beef his legs slightly. add some more gems. Do his sword up proper.

Next is Lord Zedd.

But.....

But.

While I love both, they were completely incompatible. Just two different types of bots. The old DZ from the show was like a walking refrigerator with a tail. Had very little range of movement, and looked stiff at all times. This Dragonzord is more modeled after Mecha-Godzilla, with proportions and articulation. It just wasn't intended to mesh with an actual Megazord model. Two completely unrelated models that spanned years apart in making, by two different modelers.

Until now.

It started with the mastodon hardware. Despite all odds, and not intending to be engineered like so, the Mastodon chassis actually lined up with the dragonzord spine. (with a couple mods, of course).

So I figured, if THAT was possible, then it was just a matter of making the rest fall into line.

The majority of these modeling modifications between the two files was done by a good friend and business partner, u/GrimalkinLegionnaire. It took some engineering to get this to be compatible, and we put a lot of hard work into it.

I took some serious... liberties. The tail on the DZ model is absolutely enormous. (godzilla). So it wouldnt really make a proper traditional weapon that was featured in warrior mode, canon wise.

So I replaced that column-thing with the actual sword, and combined it into a pseudo poleaxe. And featured the whole tail as an optional lash weapon as well.

Megazord and dragonzord are 13 and 12 inches respectively. Mega Dragonzord is a whopping 17 inches tall. As is, with all the files and mods, as you see it- the print time alone is 100 hours.

Next up is... TITANUS.

We are doing a whole makeover from the ground up. It's gonna be... different.

Thanks for checking this passion project out. Took weeks worth of hours. Lots of time and materials. lots of cursing. I like doing custom work. Always like to change a few things up while I'm in there. (notice the pterodactyl is actually pink).

Finished the Megazord the other day. Immediately started on the Dragonzord, and here it is. Between both models, 351 individual pieces- all printed in color. No paint here. (I freaking hate painting).

I like a dash of realism with my batshit crazy Sci-fi/Fantasy. Bright, happy colors don't really do it for me. Say what you will about Zack Snyder, but the man knows his realism color palette. That's what I was going for. Something you could see existing in real time.

This project took EIGHTEEN different colors and filaments. Mostly metallic PETG choices. Luckily, I had the vast majority of it already in my library from another venue, but if i had to buy them all new? It would be around $350. Well worth it. Total print time? 90 hours across 3 machines. Assembly time- about 5 hours total, including glue dry.

One hell of a fun project. Been wanting this for decades. Finally decided to make it so.
