I go to GoodLife almost everyday near Liverpool and Bayly st and there’s a stop sign for cars coming straight from bayly or turning right from Liverpool before you enter the parking lot. The amount of times a car has almost hit me is crazy, and the drivers don’t even apologize. They just give you a side of eye as if it’s your fault. I’m telling you if a cop were ever around he’d be handing out tickets like a birthday candy.
So I’m a gold 2 player peak is plat 1 in like year 5 but I didn’t play for such a long time consistently , just got back to the game this summer again. I’ve been more active climbing from bronze to high gold but damn it these golds ain’t the same golds that I used to play with. Either people are smurfing or I’m actually washed, and need to retire for good.
Edit: spelling
Hello everyone, so English is my second language but I’ve been I’ve been studying it since elementary school and I have no problems when listening to natives or even non-natives my vocabulary is decent, however recently I’ve moved to English speaking country and I’ve found myself repeating myself to people because they can’t hear me. I don’t have a strong accent according to my cousins m, who is a native. The problem she said is when the conversation is deep or longer the words that come out of my mouth are not clear like she couldn’t clearly hear what I’m trying to say. like maybe I stutter? I’m not sure. Almost everyone asks me to repeat majority of the time, I can’t figure out what the problem is. Maybe it’s cause I’m not used to speaking it daily?
What’s the fix for this?
So i just got a job as a part time deli clerk at a grocery and today was my first shift alone. It was a closing shift and i was scheduled from 4-8 and i was working by myself for the first time and didn't finish my duties by 8 like cleaning the slicers wrapping the foods etc... so i stayed up until 8:20 and wrapped up everything. On my way out my colleague who works in another department asks me if i'm new and she told me to always clock out on time regardless of the whether the job is done or not. She basically told me not to work for free for a single minute.
I'm 19 and this is my first ever job so i don't know what the standards and norms are. Is this normal thing to do? Would you just leave even if u didn't complete your tasks?
Just posting this to express how grateful I am to the drivers and the region for providing this service. As a broke college student working a part-time evening job, regular buses are no longer running by the time I finish my shift. If it weren't for DRT On Demand, I would either have to take an Uber or quit my job. Honestly, I might as well quit the job because Uber is just too expensive.
IMO it’s always going to be vigil. Whenever I see vigil on prep phase I always choose to go direct and fight 4 guys in site rather than taking the one fight against him(this is from solo perspective).
Any recommendations for healthy protein powders(No artificial flavor) that doesn't taste like chalk?
Basically the title. I’m just curious cause when I sign up a few months ago they only told me 3 membership types. Premium/Ultimate/Performance with the lowest one being 40.99 bi weekly. But my friend is telling me there’s a lower tier than premium.
Hello everyone i'm looking for some driving schools in pickering. Any recommendations here? Heard Gr8 drivers are decent but i did fill out an online form 2 weeks ago and no response since so i'm looking for alternatives. Young drivers are also great but pretty expensive, i'm looking for something affordable and decent.
Thanks.
Hello!!
I'm 19 y.o and looking to buy my first car in the fall/ winter i currently have g1 but i'll be taking the g2 test soon. I'm feeling confident, been driving with my dad since i was 18(about a year and a half). I know the rules of the road and everything.
And someone told me i could get insurance discounts if i take mto approved driving course. Is that true and if so how much discount can you get??
I'm not gonna buy fancy car or whatsoever, just looking for something reliable and simple like Honda civic/ Camry. I heard driving course could be 500-1000 bucks that sounds expensive so does the discount offset that or will i just be wasting money for nothing?

I came from a relatively small city in BC where I used to get a haircut for just under 20 bucks. And today I went to the closest barbershop for a fresh cut and they charged me $45. The cut was decent but $45?? And that’s before tip. Is that how much y’all pay for hair cut over here?
It’s near Kingston and whites for anyone curious.
Is it just me or is the new cheating so blatant in the new season? Like especially in Emarald/ Diamond lobbies. I had a guy repelled on me through a wall shot me in the face and mocks me in the chat calling me deaf and etc...
Hello everyone!!
So i'm a transfer student from a uni in BC I was taking Java 1 and I was supposed to do Java 2 in summer before i transfered. I was checking uoit cs courses for first year and I noticed there are 3 programming related courses
Can anyone give me a brief summarization of these courses and which are taken in 1st and 2nd semester? And considering i did Java 1(Which was mainly about basics of java like loops conditionals classes and objects) which of these course do you think i will be able to skip?
I know this is a long question but i'd appreciate the help.
I just moved from BC to Ontario for the summer for uni break and i'm having hard time playing r6. It always says connection lost and kicks me out of the game. Never had this issue when playing with wifi on campus network in BC. I know wifi is unreliable anyways and i should use Ethernet but anything i can do besides switching to ethernet? I'm like 40 feet away from the router so unless i buy a long cable i can't use Ethernet.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hello everyone!! I just came from BC for the summer to stay with my family here in pickering and I was looking for jobs in the city but couldn't fine none. Anyone knows anyplace that are hiring right now? Could be any job i'm a uni student looking to do something instead of sitting home the whole day.
Appreciate it, Thanks.
