What games did you absolutely sink hours into as a kid?

I used to be obsessed with PopCap games like Chuzzle, Plants vs. Zombies, Iggle pop and Zuma. I'd lose hours playing those as a kid. Definitely takes me back.

What now? I finished the entirety of this show. I honestly don't know what to do, I miss them already. I wish there was a show with the same charm as the Mentalist.

It's not perfect in its writing, and I wish there was a crackdown on the Blake Association, but damn there's quite nothing like this comfort show. I'll miss everyone.

one weight loss tip that sounded fake but actually worked for you..?

I have been trying to lose weight lately (on and off to be honest), and I already know the basics. Eat in a calorie deficit, move more, stay consistent, all that. I've been doing light exercise when I can, but I'm also curious about the smaller habits that made a noticeable difference for people.

I'm talking about those little tricks that almost sound too simple to matter. Things like drinking water before meals, eating protein first, using smaller plates, keeping unhealthy snacks out of the house, or even getting better sleep. I've heard people swear by all kinds of habits, and I'm wondering which ones actually made a difference for you over time.

I'm not really looking for a magic shortcut or a crash diet. I know weight loss still takes time and consistency. I'm just interested in hearing about the little changes that helped make the process easier without feeling like you had to completely overhaul your life.

So what's one tip that sounded silly, too easy, or even fake at first, but ended up helping you more than you expected? I'd love to hear the reasoning behind it too, since everyone seems to find different things that work for them. Thanks in advance!

Random shower thought about a Resident Evil spinoff

You play as an intelligence analyst after an outbreak. You're given survivor interviews, maps, photographs, radio transcripts, security footage, and field reports, then you have to reconstruct exactly what happened from incomplete information.

No combat. No boss fights. Just piecing together the timeline of an outbreak through evidence. The horror comes from realizing something is wrong before anyone in the reports does.

Imagine replaying security footage because one witness swears there were six civilians, only to realize there was someone standing in the background that nobody ever mentions.

Maybe it's a smaller scale bioterrorism case, with Hunnigan guiding you through the investigation.I honestly think I'd sink hours into something like that. Just curious if anyone else would.

Looking for games where the protagonist turns out to be... not a very good person?

I'm looking for games where you start out thinking you're the hero, but as the story unfolds, you realize the character you're playing isn't exactly a good person or has some big secret.

Not talking about antiheroes who are obviously morally gray from the start. I mean games where it's an actual reveal or slow realization.

I've already played Dark Deception and Silent Hill, so no recommendations from those series pls. 😄

Any games like this that you'd recommend? (having a game night with friends next week)

If you had to eat only food from one video game for a week, which game would you pick?

People always talk about gameplay, story, or graphics, but I'm more interested in the food a game's world has to offer. 😅 Just not anything from RE7 dear lord.

I'd probably go with Monster Hunter. Those giant meals the chefs make always look incredible.

What about you? Which game are you choosing, and what's the first meal you're grabbing?

Why did they show up at the senate plenary hall even if there's no scheduled meeting today?

When there is class, absent.

If there is no class, will go to school

Your top 3 memorable protagonist in survival horror games?

For me, Emily from Until Dawn was a mean girl but she sure was a little smarter than the rest of the group(Final girl vibes), Clementine from TWD hits emotionally every time, and Sebastian Castellanos from The Evil Within has that perfect mix of broken and badass.

Had to hold back from saying Leon and Jill valentine from the resident evil remakes because they're a popular choice. Although I also like Grace from RE9, she's a scaredy cat like me.

I’m rolling with Davos Seaworth, Jon Snow, Arya Stark, and Brienne of Tarth if I'm gonna be stuck in Westeros for a while.
