A while back I posted an unpainted version of him and after over a month of sitting in that state, Ghanon Ghazlighter, warlord of WAAAGH ‘ARD STOMPAZ is finally done. Used the venerable dreadnought model as a base and just added a bunch of bits onto him to make him act as a Nazdreg on the tabletop. The black Templar on his back is just some stupid git who got a bit too close to his gun waving a stupidly big choppa and screaming something about being a champion of that big dead umie they all worship, whatever that means. The mini is also full of free hands that represent parts of the lore of my WAAAGH, such as the broken astra militarum plate on the base (the remains of the planet’s previous defenders) the writing of Ossis being green (Ossis being the planet they’re on) and a red star next to Filemon Bomba, a grot that once had the entire warband in his little fist back when Ghanon was slightly too stupid to understand everything that’s going on, but now that he’s catching on, Filemon is starting to feel… radical and red.

Gotta say, I love how this model turned out, can’t wait to finally get him on the tabletop. Tell me what you think!

A while ago, I posted a big mek in mega armor, who at the time was my warlord - Ghanon Ghazlighter. With how big the new warbosses were tho, I decided that he needed an upgrade. I present to you: Da big boss of the ‘Ard Stompaz, alongside his most trusted snotling companion: Filemon Bomba.
Legend has it that Filemon is actually the one pulling the strings of the whole WAAAGH, with the real Ghanon laying dead somewhere on the vast battlefields of the war torn planet Ossis, but those are just petty stories… right?

Finished me some meganobz for me WAAAGH!!

Loved converting (used the ogre blood bowl team as the base) and painting them. Gotta say, I love painting orks in a more grimdark style.

I think I’m gonna buy a dreadnought to convert and use as a deathskull nazdreg in my army to lead these gitz next.

Built my breaka boyz mostly according to the instructions, but it was my idea from the beginning to use the spares to kitbash these gitz. Still need to get a base for the boss nob, as I used the one from the box for a different kitbash. Love how these turned out overall, they could’ve been better, but they’re still cool

Gave the warboss the uge choppa from the mega armored boss, as I felt the one he came with was a bit too small. Sure it doesn’t look amazing, but I like it cause it’s mine. Also, I gave the left over choppa the warboss and gave it to the big boss, an idea I got from a Warhammer community post a while back, as I think it looks neat. Again, it’s not the biggest conversion, but I like them

Played a 1k point game against black Templars today and I had the worst WAAAGH of my life. Made all the charges I needed (meganobz into helbrecht with crusader squad and emperors champion, boyz into the same stuff, kommandos into intercessors, killa kans into a lone Marshall) just perfect stuff. Killed 5 models overall. 3 of them were the initiates from the crusader squad and 2 were intercessors. Didn’t wound the Marshall once. In the clap back, he killed all my boyz, 3 of my meganobz and one killa kan. My melee was better in his turn somehow, as I killed his entire crusader squad and 2 other intercessors, but holy shit. I’ve never felt so bad about my rolls in my life. Pic from the end of my first turn to grab attention. (Also, shout out to my lootas + big mek with shokk attack gun, who killed 5 sword bretheren in overwatch, 3 of his assault terminators and a gladiator all by themselves)

Was bored so I did this, don’t have much experience in editing, so it’s not the greatest, but I like it either way

Got a varag ghoul chewer for real cheap, so I spent the afternoon kitbashing him into… something. I am gonna use him as a big mek for now, but with 11th, I might start using him as a warboss. Either way, I love this (not so) little git

These 4 gitz took way too long to finish, but I love them personally and they’re the most deathskull deathskulls I’ve painted so far. Holy, I can’t wait to paint 4 more of them and the 2 spanners.

I’ve also been putting off painting them, cause they seemed like they would be a pain in the ass, but they were super fucking fun

I put way too much time into these guys, only to get an outcome not even close to the level of my orks. But well, that’s what first times are for, ain’t it?
