I’m usually in the long natural nails sub, but I recently decided to cut everything down and start completely fresh. I use cuticle oil and hand cream regularly, avoid water, and never leave them bare. I don’t need any help in that regard.

I like to keep my nails in an almond shape which I obviously won’t be able to do for quite some time until they get longer. I’m really trying to leave my sidewalls alone in the meantime so I haven’t done any shaping whatsoever. But I need to do something, because I chipped the corners on 2 of them over the weekend. How can I get dull the corners without messing up my sidewalls?

I collected for a few years starting in 2017. I have awful luck with blind bags… I almost always get whichever figure I DON’T want, so I started to just buy the ones that I like from eBay. After a while I found myself overwhelmed by the constant releases and I also felt like a portion of the characters were getting repetitive. I burned out and packed them all up.

On a whim a few weeks ago I bought a carousel blind box (and got an underwhelming figure😐as expected). But I started to poke around and see what has been released since I have been gone and felt overwhelmed again. I have a couple trades on the way and I have a few on my “nice to have” list that I’ll get to eventually, but after getting the 10” Aquamarina in the mail today I’m really happy about my collection and it feels complete to me.

I don’t have any particular ISOs I’m just looking for more recent unicornos and mermicornos. I haven’t been collecting for many years so I don’t have any of the more recent ones so just make me an offer with what you have! The only exception is that I would like to exchange the carousel for another carousel. I’m willing to send multiples in exchange for fewer from you.

I have feedback on eBay as meghanbowie, but since I haven’t done any trades on Reddit I am willing to send first.

Does anyone have an unboxed picture of the 5” artist series Stellina? I can only find stock/NIB pictures.

I found these today and had such a flashback. I remember when the outfits came with the cutest little accessories and even Bitty Bear would get some kind of hat/headband/bib. This apple plays “pop goes the weasel” when you crank it, and when you press the button on the present the cat pops up and says “meow!” We also had a birthday cake that played music, but I’m not sure where that one went.

He passed away 4 years ago and this is the only picture of us that I have. I thought that I deleted all of them, but I plugged an old external hard drive in on a whim and found this one.

I don’t want any other cosmetic edits, just the lighting so that he’s not so shadowy/washed out/I don’t really know the right terminology. I can tip $5.

I was mentally prepared (but still devastated) to cut all of my nails down after my pinky broke. I went to my nail lady yesterday so that she could do the deed for me, and she suggested that instead of bringing them ALL down to shorty length, to just trim them down some so that they still have some length but aren’t as dramatically different. I really like the results and I know that that’s all that matters, but I’d like to hear some outside opinions.

TLDR because I’m a chronic overexplainer: I’m looking for a bright, fun red- nothing vampy or dark. Cremes or shimmers, no magnetics.

Ok first of all my nails are GOING THROUGH IT right now. I have been keeping press ons on the two shorties, but now the remaining middle finger has problems🥲 it’s held together with a silk nail wrap, and then I got a big blob of glue on the tip that I couldn’t buff flat so I just cut the tip off. I don’t want to try to shape it bc I think that the whole thing just needs to be left alone for a while.

Anyway. I want to add some reds to my collection, but I don’t really know about undertones and cool/warm colors or anything like that, so I usually just buy whatever looks nice in the bottle but then I put it on and it doesn’t look good. It’s been a few years since I tried one, so I unfortunately can’t give any examples of ones that haven’t worked.

I have vitiligo that becomes more pronounced in the summer when I’m spending time in the sun, and it spreads more over time. I’m at the point now where the skin around my nails is pretty much entirely depigmented so that probably adds another layer of “wtf am I even doing?” to my confusion.

Now. This one. I have finally found the milky pink of my dreams. The formula and color are absolutely perfect. I’m a believer🫡

I ordered from Uno Mas for the first time. The polish that I was looking forward to the most was “That’s colour theory, babe” which is supposed to be a glow in the dark hot pink.

I STRUGGLED with the application. The texture is thick and goopy. Honestly it seemed almost like glue-y? It went on thick and once it hit my nail it didn’t want to spread around. Getting around my cuticles neatly was next to impossible because of the gloop so I eventually gave up and just let them look like shit for a few hours before removing it. I tried it again a few days later this time using kb shimmer thinner and even after 10 drops the consistency was still the same. I got 3 other colors and all of those ones seem completely normal when I swatched them so idk. I emailed the shop to see if they have heard about this from anyone else. I dont like being wasteful but this polish really has no redeeming qualities so it’s probably going to go in the trash.

And it doesn’t really have much glow to speak of but that might just be user error. I have never had a glow polish so I probably did it wrong. the only UV light that I have is a little flashlight that I use to look at my vitiligo in the dark 😅 but I charged them underneath for about 10 minutes and there wasn’t any glow. I was trying to make myself feel better because “Avatar State” by Mooncat is my dream but it’s just way too expensive. I also got “La llarona” in the Uno Mas order because it’s supposed to be kinda similar to it but I haven’t tried it yet.

Has anyone else used this color? Does using a top coat make the glow effect not work?
