Questions for other workers in different parts of the world

I work at bk in France and have been for a few years now

I've been reading the sub and comments and I'm quite curious because it seems it's going much differently elsewhere so I have a few questions for you

- how often do you clean the broilers/appliances? I've read that apparently it's somewhere between every day and never

- is it true that you microwave burgers before giving them to customers

- gas broiler? I've read about it a few times but unless I'm very mistaken, our broilers here are 100% electric (and still produce flames)

- are you still obligated to take orders at the counters and don't have kiosks? Or is it a minority?

- more American service related but is it true that you aren't allowed to say no to customers even if they ask for something completely impossible and you could get in trouble/get fired for it even though you litteraly can't do anything for them ? (For example idk someone coming in and asking to purchase prescription medication, I'm exaggerating but you get the point)

Will gladly answer any questions you may have about how it's going in France!

Botched/ugly result?

Hello!

I've had top surgery in January 2021 (double incision with free nipple grafts) and a slight revision in may 2026 (dog ear removal on the right side). I was first operated with a BMI of around 33 (90kg) and I'm currently closer to a 40 BMI (112kg). I was 119kg at my heaviest 6 months ago.

I'm mostly happy with the result but I had multiple trans people criticizing it, saying that it looks botched and unnatural/not cis-looking (I was looking for as cis as possible of a result).

The main points were that the nipples are too close together, too small, too low and that straight scars are ugly

I haven't had any issues passing, and I've been to the pool, the lake, changing rooms at multiple jobs and never had any questions or curious looks.

So be honest, is it that bad??

First picture is 4-5 months post op, second is 5 years post op (you can see the revision scar on the right side)

They have all the beds in the world and they decided to sleep on my table 😭

They have access to:

- a big cat tree

- a bed and a hamac in the kitchen

- a small cat tree

- my own bed with a blanket

And still they sleep on the random clothes (for the orange) and a Lego set???? (For the tuxedo)

Wanted to show off my wentii but y'all's plants are much more impressive 😅

Had her for 5 years. Survived lack of care and being nibbled by cats quite well, now at 11 leaves it's the most she ever had!

She is usually on top of my oven (the only place in my apartment where cats can't reach) and get decent indirect sunlight, I water her whenever I remember so either twice a week or once a month but still she is alive!

Would like to re-pot her soon-ish, what kind of soil would you recommend?

What's wrong ? :(

I have multiple spider plants in this pot, I haven't changed the substrate since I bought it last year, it's very draining substrate

She has been doing alright but lately a lots of leaves have browned at the base

I keep her inside with plenty of indirect sunlight (I don't have any exterior I could put her) and water every week/ every 2 weeks

Am I doing something wrong? Should I change the substrate?

How to hatch indian stick insect?

I listened to your previous advice of making the tank vertical, so the adults have more height room.

Now I have around 20 eggs in the small tank, how can I make them hatch? They been laid less than a week ago, currently on wet paper towel.

How should the humidity and temperature be for them to hatch and how long will it take? (I have a thermometer/hydrometer available)

J'arrive à 23h30 et je repars le lendemain vers 7h30

Je cherche des bars/restaurants où c'est possible de se poser jusqu'à tôt le matin (4-5h idéalement), je peux consommer sans souci

Hello!

I (24M) will be spending a night alone in Paris and don't have an hotel or anywhere to sleep lined up yet

Anywhere I can stay until morning or first metro? I will have money available so I can make purchases like food or drinks. The plan would be like stay somewhere inside to eat and drink then take the first metro to the train station

I will be arriving to Paris at 11:30pm and leaving at 7:30am the next day, I don't really want to get any hotel room bc I have bad insomnia problems and I'm worried that I will either not fall asleep or have trouble waking up in time for the train. I am used to all nighters and can drink lots of caffeine if needed

I have seen people giving advices like "use Grindr 😉" and while I am indeed gay I'm always afraid of meeting psychos this way and I'd really like to arrive home alive
