I began simple, but long video render in Davinci Resolve. I have never attempted to render 4k video over 2 hours long, but didn't think much of it (full game match recorded that day). Usual render settings. Instead of immediate render process, everything became idle and nothing was happening. After forcibly quitting Resolve via Task manager, Resolve didn't even want to open again. My PC couldn't even restart normally. I had to restart it with a button. I remember Task manager showing 100% NVMe utilization, but close to zero transfer rates...
These things don't happen to me at all. And after the hard PC restart, when I wanted to render video again, this message about my target folder showed up. This really concerns me. I have nothing all that important in this particular folder, but it's on my back up drive. Which contains sensitive files worth preserving. This NVMe is pretty new, bought about 2 years ago.
Is my NVMe failing or is this some Windows 11 glitch that can be fixed?
Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
The PC is quite new, bought about 3 years ago.
Also, exactly the same error happened now to my friend, except it was not after video export, but when he wanted to upload his raw OBS footage on our server, a night after it was recorded. His NVMe drive is couple of months new.
