no idea how this happened

I was looking at the mod and considering it, but I want to know if a gameplay/campaign overhaul like that is worth it or if i should get something else.

So my scorpion kidnapped himself in a rebellion, the duplicate died and i recruited the original again. but his duplicate corpse was still there and being curious I resurrected him. The original turned completely into a zombie white skin and zombie voice but the duplicate i resurrected has the zombie eyes but normal skin and can talk. what's weird is they both are the same ork on the army map. any experiments I should try to see if i can separate these spiritual siamese orks?

I have done some light skimming around the web and there is no real definitive answer. The game has been radio silent for about a full year after promising a new update soon. What kinda confuses me is that there are 2 developers and both of them just... disappeared, no statement, no warning that we would have to wait this long, but also unless im wrong no indication that this was all some big scam. I mean I did pay some quality dollars on it and it seems really cool but it seems that the devs are just gone.

Obviously there could be worse but i saw this guy as a beggar and i was wondering why he was moving so slowly and then i looked at his health tab. Im not sure if i should let this guy live or end his suffering btw on top of this hes a squeamish teetotaler dirtmole who as a child was an organ farm and grew up to be a low wage worker. Youch.
