What did I have in my yard?
I mowed over a couple of these. Maybe 4in./10cm tall

Any tips on stiffening fabric like the velveteen shown. I want it to stand up like a drawn curtain behind the figure on the base.
Bought this watermelon 5 days ago. The foam is not pink, and doesn’t have much of a smell. I expected it to smell fermented, but no?
My guy still needs basing. What sort of wizard is he? The halfling seems torn between ranger and rogue. I wonder what sort of bounder a halfling slayer would make?
I know that using an orange or pink under yellow helps it pop and I have used it to a satisfying result. I was wondering if anyone had other undercoat recipes particularly for pastels. I have contrast paints in many colors as well as normal acrylics. I'm going for a Dia de Muertos look with the paltry number of Necrons I possess. Glow recipes would also help. Picture above has some of the coloration esthetic I am looking for.
Thank you
Just a silly mini I have 3 of. Originally a WotC model from the pre-painted sets from 2005. I played around with dry brushing and some localized washes. I also used those wash contrasts for some of the line work. I had a lot of fun with this redeux. I am on the fence about the other two. I would like to do a metallic, or a magma elemental. I would also like to use one as OSL practice and make it gem encrusted. I'll read your feedback. Thanks.
I repainted one of the WoTC pre-painted Earth elementals form 2005. This is a side by side with one of its siblings. The base is still in progress, then it needs blending and touch-ups but yeah, this is close to finished.
Wizards of the coast D&D minis 2005 series, earth elemental. I have three of these and am going to do each in a different scheme. This is top-side Chuck, or UpChuck as its refer to it, on the left next to what Chuck looked like last week. I started the base tonight and have touch ups when that is finished. Chuck is 90% dry-brushing with some washes and lining. Feel free to suggest other earth elemental themes for Chuck's two buddies.
I haven't run a game since D&D 4th. I've been playing pathfinder for about a decade though. Anyway, I'm running a new game based in Isger. I have a village that I want as a rest location/ recurring exploration spot. It was a bustling village but now abandoned as many in Isger have become. The place is haunted. I am using haunts in a big way, mostly cold spots in clusters, spectral screams, footsteps and isolation.
Monsters wise there is a group of shadows and the mid boss is the ghost of a cleric of Milani in the village square surrounded by buried alive and foreboding mist haunts.
I was wondering if anyone had any insidious, lurking undead recommendations outside of the norm.
Edit: The party is starting at 1st level and being introduced to this place very lightly. The first time they will have a reason to return will be 3rd/4th after the conclusion of "Gallows of Madness" which only I have played through.
Thank you.
Pork loin roasted with garlic, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomato. Roasted broccoli. Over leftover rice.
