People are saying the PS6 will be more than $1,000. But does that really matter? Everyone will eventually be forced to upgrade. It not like we can play on our ps5 for the rest of time. And high prices only harm products if their cheaper competitors. But Xbox will be equally as expensive and gaming PC hella expensive. So the PS6 will look reasonable and the norm. A console lifespan can last 10 years so that plenty of time to save money for a ps6. There also finance plans $1,000/24 months is $41 a month. That isn’t bad. And since gaming is a big part of people life now, why wouldn’t they just spend a couple extra hundreds dollars to get their gaming console. People can also buy less games and use that money to buy the hardware.

There also 50m ps plus subs. That a guarantee base with high disposable income that already spend $80 to $160 a year.

Ads and Ad free subscription is how companies keep the light on. But by blocking ads and not paying for subscriptions then the company earn zero money from you. You using their service for completely free. They give while you give nothing back

Rent A Girlfriend doesn’t follow the typical tropes. The MC continue to chase the same girl despite being constantly rejected. There is little character growth as that reflect real life.

Possible future for Gaming:

You only be able to own a dummy PC where the Graphics cards and CPUs no longer matter because your local machine does zero rendering. Everything is on the Cloud.
Even single player games crash the second you turn off your Internet. Pc building is killed.

When a game stops making money, the publisher hits delete, and the game ceases to exist.

The** End of Modding.** Since you have zero access to the game files, community mods and custom content are completely wiped out.

You never buy a game. You only license the right to stream it.

1. I always been digital only so the disappearance of physical games doesn’t bother me
2. Console may no longer win in pricing but it still way more convenient and less of a hassle than PCs.
3. PlayStation UI is way better than Steam Ui
4. Console is still a dedicated gaming device so there is less bloat.
5. PlayStation has a great ecosystem from handheld to VR
6. Sony is innovative and always thinking forward on how to enhance and improve the gaming experience. Hardware and software. For example Sony developing agents that can assist you in gaming and up scaling games
7. I heard Sony is releasing a handheld that can play games natively which is very exciting

I believe everyone should give Sony another chance and see that they still have many unique things to offer. Will you stay with Sony?
