Replacement for Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Pearl?

I know this is an older highlighter. I probably bought mine like in 2015, but it lasted a long time until my toddlers found it and smashed it up. I read that Becca Cosmetics was acquired by Smashbox back in 2021. I looked for a replacement for my favorite highlighter in the color pearl, but it appears that they don't make that color anymore. It's a cool-toned white shimmery highlighter. What would be the best product to replace it? I love that it looked pure white, because my skin is extremely light and it was the only thing to really stand out.

How do you deal with a boss who always has to be right?

I'm feeling extremely frustrated and at my wit's end today. I started working at my current company on July 1, 2018. I have been there for 8 years. On July 1st, my boss texted me and said "happy 7th work anniversary!" I'm not usually one to correct people because confrontation bothers me, but this bothered me more. I texted her back and said "I think it's 8 years since I started in 2018." And she doubled down and said "no, it's your 7th anniversary and your 8th year is just now starting." Am I just crazy or what? I never replied because I feel so confused and now I'm just angry and feeling disheartened.

This isn't the only time recently when she's doubled down on being wrong. She recently asked me to order an item for the office that she needed by a certain time. I ordered it and immediately told her the date it was expected to arrive, which was June 30th. I verbally informed her of that date and texted it to her. When I had a meeting on the 26th, she asked about it and I reminded her and said it was expected to arrive by the 30th. She then argued with me and said "no, you said it would be here today so I'm expecting it today."

Guys, I just feel crazy. Am I crazy? I'm tempted to set up recording on my phone so I can record every conversation that doesn't come with a written paper trail. It's like she just gets to decide whatever the truth is, regardless of the facts, as long as she believes it.

What's worse? This just makes me extremely upset and stressed and I feel like I just get bulldozed every time. I really struggle to let things like this go because honesty and the truth are very important to me. I'm struggling to just let this roll off without stewing over it.

I feel like early pregnancy is the worst part.

I'm currently 4 weeks pregnant with my third baby. I just found out last week at just about 11 days after ovulation. It's just really hard to be in this waiting period. I told my husband about it. I don't feel anything physically. I had some cramping all last week possibly due to implantation. I also had a lot of bloating which has subsided. I've taken pregnancy tests about every other day and I can see that the HCG line is getting darker, but I wish I had some symptoms. Any symptoms at all would reassure me that my baby is okay and that my pregnancy is progressing. I wish I could fast forward to feeling the baby kick and having a visible baby bump. When I was pregnant the first time, I had extreme breast tenderness. Then I had pretty much no symptoms the second time and I found out I was much further on than what I had expected. Yesterday, I felt overjoyed to be pregnant. Today, I'm tired and feeling down. I'm anxious. I wish I could feel the baby and hear his or her heartbeat. I wish I could know that everything is okay. I want to have and love this baby so badly.

High Quality Chocolate Gift Recommendations?

I want to include a high quality box of chocolates as a part of a gift to my friend for graduation. I don't think she likes anything dark or with fruits, pistachios, or praline. I think she likes caramel. Do you have any recommendations of a company I should order these from? I think some genache truffles would be great. I would appreciate any recommendations.

Hi! I'm hoping to spend about $100 on a gift for a close friend of mine who is graduating from law school. I've sent flowers to her in the past and now I'm not sure where to shop or what to look for. This will be like a Master's degree I believe, so I want it to be something special. Thank you in advance for any ideas!

I usually take my 3 & 5 year olds out to the playground or indoor playground to play so they don't destroy my home, but I've been sick and it's cold here now so I haven't been able to. Omfg these guys have so many toys, art supplies, and activities. Are they playing with any of it? Of course not. One of them dumped an entire container of aborillo rice all over the floor and they have both been playing with and hitting each other with a board that fell off of one of our cabinets. On top of that, all of my kitchen utensils are scattered all over the fucking place because the lock on one of our kitchen drawers broke. I guess the moral of the story is don't be sick and you must lock or nail every last thing down if you're a parent. I don't understand why they must destroy our home and everything we own. I don't understand why they won't play with their toys or draw or something. I'm dealing with crippling fatigue and difficulty breathing and I can't keep up with it all.

My toddler son has requested a boot shaped cake for his birthday this year. He's really stuck on it and has been asking for a couple of months now. He loves his snow boots, so I think his cake should be in the shape of a snow boot. Are there any tips or templates I should try? I usually just make round cakes with buttercream or chocolate genache, so this will be very new territory for me.
